Any mechanics going to the BCA show in Charlotte, NC. I am driving down with a couple of the guys that work for me. I wish it was Vegas again.:D

Yea, I'm disappointed that it is in Charlotte. I am not very excited at all except to make some new contacts, maybe grab a new table line. Only excitement of the trip is that I'm going to Florida afterwards. Pat did you get to see the comodores last year, I didn't expect it to be fun but it was.

I forgot about it but now I know I can tie up some things and try to make it been 5+ years since I have been to one. I have a friend that goes for both of us I give him cash and he gives me parts and pamplets and a can of almond rocca I still think I'm getting the short end of the deal..

thanks again,

Craig Herman

I'm going......no excuses not to as it's only 20 miles from me. Charlotte and the entire area is booming over the last several years. The mass exodus of the Northern states like Ohio, Jersey, NY, Maryland, etc. are all migrating here and leaving them taxes behind. I left Minnesota for the milder winter climate and glad I did! It is a nice area here so, try to enjoy......if you make it.

I'm planning on being there. Glen we should organize a mechanics booth for next year.
How about this year, showing how to install cloth on a Diamond one piece slate with 3M glue;)

Glen

Next year, you're right, we should have a booth and about 15 mechanic's there, showing how to change cushions, extend rails, recover rails, install cloth. People could bring their rails to the trade show booth and get them recovered:D

Glen

Yea you missed the deadline to get badges for free if your BCA members. You can pay upfront at the show or online but it is $50 for non BCA members. Anyone who wants to go that actually posts and stuff I can register them and see if I can pull a string and get it for free otherwise it would be $25. Let me know.

A 10x10 booth is $1200, but i would imagine it changes year to year.

Anyone still making it to the BCA show next week? I'm only going to make it on Saturday. Give me a shout if you are coming and perhaps we can have a cocktail or three

Haven't been here in eons and kinda miss the ol' board!

It starts June 12th. I know that for the most part, everyone there doesn't give two $hits about mechanics.

We do. We love table mechanics and serve a lot of them in the local Charlotte area and around the country. We would LOVE to talk to table mechanics and do whatever we can to provide you with whatever you need that we can.

This is not corporate-speak bullshit - talk to us and you will see what I mean.

It's a trade show - money (orders) talks, you know the rest. :D

I went last year so I don't suspect there will be much new and different in Charlotte.
But if you're buying :D I could change my mind.
