I would like to video tape u and I for the big cash

That to me sounds like a cry for help. Are there any mental health professionals on the forum that can weigh in with a good referral in Mr. Harriman's home town?

If u were to put up your cash and play me then your fellow peers would ask you to have your head examined before posting your toasties. Your buds in your hometown would want to refer you to the nearest mental hospital for sure. But it's like JAM said if I saw you play I would probably get a real chuckle. Your swager would look a bit tense I would imagine.

You definitely would get a chuckle, I'm terrible.lol You're a great player, even Schmidt has said that many times.
Not sure what the rest of your post means but on the way home from the shrink maybe you should stop somewhere and get spelling lessons. It's swagger with two g's bud. Maybe we should post up ten grand against who scores higher on an I.Q. test.
But in the meantime, let's get back to what the post was about before you're usual schmidt rant derailed us (obsess much Dan?)- straight pool, runs on video for people like me who have never run a hundred, normal folks like Bobby and John, etc.
Thanks for the comic relief though..

This thread is going in the wrong direction.

John run some more hi runs do it on a Diamond maybe run a 400 on that tight equipment share it with us like you have so many times in the past. Ignore those other guys they are inconsequential to what you can do on the table.

Danny don't worry about John you are your own kind of badass. Remember you do not have to be mean to an enemy or come to their level, think of this from the KJV Proverbs 25:21-22 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.

Now Bobby C. Keep running hundreds and multiple 200's and the occasional 300+ if you get a chance with that good financial situation you have you could purchase some video equipment. You could review your own runs and use that to improve as well as to share with others if you are so inclined. Saying mean things about other people does not help you in any way.

We lost poor old Rodney King recently, if he was here he would say - Can't we all just get along. Rodney was sure enough some kind of philosopher.:smile::smile:

I love when people censure others for typos, and wryly say something like, "not sure what you mean..." as if a typo means they're speaking Portuguese all a sudden and it's impossible to understand.

Not taking sides, just pointing out another reason this thread is full of win.

And he corrected Danny's grammer...but failed to youz the appropriate your/ you're.

Why should Bobby waste his time and money to purchase video equipment just to show you and others how many balls he is running? If you want to watch so badly, you buy the equipment and set it up everytime he practices.

Not every one is into video and I don't think Bobby should worry about getting video equipment if he isn't interested in it. I personally own thousands of dollars worth of photography equipment but I don't have one cheap video camera. I couldn't care less about it and I don't plan on buying one.

Frankly, I don't know what difference it makes. Bobby said he ran xxx balls. You don't believe him because it wasn't on video. So what. It was practice. I believe him. It doesn't really matter because it was in practice.

I've seen Danny H. run hundreds in back to back tournament matches and they were not recorded on video. Does it mean they didn't happen? Hopefully, Bobby will run xxx balls in a tournament some day soon and it will be on video.

Easy there rich i never said i had any doubt about bobby running anything he claims. I mentioned he that he could video himself and use that improve if he so desired he could also share it with others some players such as myself watch video and learn from better players

Now look at other mainstream sports football for one they talk about watching film both of thier team and their opponents. It adds to the experience

Sounds like he has plenty of funds he bought his pool room two diamonds with lights. What would be better than two diamonds the same with video. He has not been motivated tp do that maybe he never will. Either way i wish him luck and hope he has many more high runs

I took a swipe at Danny and probably shouldn't have, especially since I'm no english or portugese professor. Just didn't want the thread to devolve again into the old familiar Danny and Schmidt don't like each other bit. That probably wasn't the best way to go about it.
:frown:

Just thought I would add that if Bobby were to play - John would try and create a diversion if he thought there might be a chance of him to lose. For a player like Schmidt it's all about feeding his ego and the popularity contest, I am sure that he loves the game however his attitude while competing in a tough contest is poor at times. His move is to argue about rules as in order to stop play, this gives him time provoke you to want to fight with his verbal slander. All the while he has no intentions of backing up his belligerent words, he then proceeds to talk about guns and or lawyers. There was a time however when people would say John if you continue to talk trash at your opponent - you will have to defend yourself physically - or else you lose all the $ - this would probably be the day that Mr. 400 retires not only from this forum but from pool also. Just a thought, ohh and by the way John you lied to the viewers of this forum yet once again. You admitted to there being some dried wax on your towel - my towel had no type of cleaning agent on it what so ever. So if you play Scmidt and he wipes the ball even with his glove that he wears I would have the cue ball inspected immediately - if you don't then the playing conditions may change without you knowing it. You will have to play well to see John's act but if you do you would then love to see him tap out, but again he has no intentions of backing up his slander. Notice how he talks about shooting someones dumbass and lawyers and all, to me this is a sure sign of war piggie that has no heart. Sorry John Schmidt but again I have seen your act, and like this thread it lack class. Your an oinker Mr. 400 and most people know it, so just continue to roll around in the slop with all your golfing buddies - don't worry they will feed your ego for ya.

Just as a shot in the dark: I'm going to guess there are things in everyone's past that they would appreciate not getting hammered on for eternity.

Danny, there are some guys that just set each other off. I'm pretty easy going, but some guys... it just happens -- I get in an argument with them after just 20 minutes of play. But most guys, I can play for hours and never say much more than, "nice shot" or, "you owe one." That doesn't mean my opponent is a bad guy, nor I -- it's just bad chemistry. I think that's the case between you and John.

So instead of the attack, try something constructive -- if you want to play John, make a realistic proposal. Otherwise, what you're going now only belittles you, not John.

I get to play Bobby quite a bit on his table. The distractions at this location are pretty crazy. Even with all the distractions he puts up numbers in a pretty casual/loud environment. The other day near the end of a small session he ran just over a hundred. During this run he was approached by 3 different people asking about cue work and other things. The pool league running is more of a zoo with inconsiderate people hovering over one corner of the table we are playing on in the corner. He has run over 100 a few times with me rotating in under similar conditions. It is always a bar atmospher and his table is stuck in a corner with two tables kitty whompus to it.

They way I have watched him run balls near and over 100, I believe he has the gear for the higher runs discussed. Knowing him as a person I do believe him. If he came on here tomorrow and said he ran 350 tonight, I would believe him. I do hope that someday I get to see a 200 put up against me and if I got out more I would think that would happen. I would bet I see that before I put up 75 against him.

As far a camera goes it would be nice to set one up and just let it run for long sessions. Problem there is you would need to edit the video to get a start and stop point and clearly then it would be an issue of editing versus someones word. To keep starting and stopping a camera in between each run would get old real quick and possibly always be on your mind while shooting.

St8 pool is not a game for everyone, I respect the challenge of it, but am unable to get hooked as much as I attempt to play the game.

I would like to know what Bobby thinks about having a stream set up on his table at the pool hall. Not in the spirit of proving anything to anyone but rather to benefit the pool hall, forum members, and himself.

The pool hall benefits from having a streaming table. Tournament matches can be streamed; people will want to play there so they can have their friends watch them play, etc. The hall makes a little more money. They may even pitch in to buy the equipment though Bobby doesn’t sound like he needs help in that area. With the stream nobody can accuse Bobby of editing any runs because it’s live. The camera can be permanently mounted on a wall where patrons can’t get to it. The hall can hold the cheap laptop.
All the forum members benefit by being able to watch a great player run balls. Not everybody has access to good players they can watch and learn from. Regularly watching someone Bobby’s speed practice until they run 100 as he does would show things that accu-stats doesn’t like shots and positions that may be too risky to shoot in competition but are still good to learn. In the process of just doing his normal practice routine he would silence the critics in my opinion. Big runs will naturally come eventually.

More importantly Bobby benefits in that he is helping weaker players on the forum, helping his local pool halls business, bringing 14.1 to anyone who happens to be watching the stream, and possibly even besting his own high run! And essentially he’s not doing anything more than a one time set-up and then just going about his practice sessions as he normally would. It seems like a good way to turn this thread into a win-win.

Idea

Im not sure he needs cameras.
If say somebody was accusing a great player like say harriman of not being able to run 250-300 like hes claimed a million people on here would chime in they have seen him make those kinda runs in person.
Im amazed nobody has chimed in and mentioned they have seen a 200 plus in person for Bobby.
No offense to the guy who says hes seen 100 ball runsfrom Bobby but im talking about somebody everybody knows ,a pro or great player whos seen bobby run something crazy like 213 or something.
If youve seen this in person and your a known player using his real name please speak up i think i speak for all of us Bobby included we would love to hear from you.
Again im not talking about 100-150 ish type runs which are a daily thing i guess for a pro like Bobby but im talking 200 plus.
Not to mention many people im sure saw that 311 maybe they could come to his defense.
For the record i ran 19 and 23 back to back today lol where does that put me on the list.

So again, what is in it for Bobby? The last paragraph was a joke.

Don't worry, I always take it easy.If my words came off a little harsh on the internet, I appologize.
Although my post was addressed to you, it was really directed at all who think that Bobby should go through all of the trouble and expense to video his practice session simply so they could see.

Now look at other mainstream sports football for one they talk about watching film both of thier team and their opponents. It adds to the experience

I wouldn't say that video is not good and it may benefit Bobby as well as others. I am saying that it is Bobby's choice to do it or not. So far, he has chosen to not video his sessions and there is nothing wrong with that.

Sounds like he has plenty of funds he bought his pool room two diamonds with lights. What would be better than two diamonds the same with video. He has not been motivated tp do that maybe he never will. Either way i wish him luck and hope he has many more high runs

It doesn't matter if Bobby is a billionaire or sleeping in his car. It is still his choice to do what he wants to do. How many other people on this forum video all of their practice sessions and make them available to the public?
We also don't know if the room owner would even want the video equipment in his room.
I'm just saying that the decision is not up to any one on this forum other than Bobby. It is really none of our business and I stand behind whatever Bobby decides.

It's this kind of poppycock that smears he fine game of pool. Get a job already and stop ruining the game for folks who don't have a gambling problem.

"So again, what is in it for Bobby? The last paragraph was a joke."

Bobby is a good guy and from what many people have said actually does enjoy giving back to pool. For a person like that, giving back is a benefit. You don't agree that you can get satisfaction by helping others? He also gets the attention and credibility he deserves and all he would be doing is practicing. I can't imagine he enjoys people saying his run isn't legit. Doing it with a stream gets rid of the naysayers AND helps pool at the same time. That seems like a good idea to me with little to no effort on his part because he's going to practice regardless.
