You simply can't go wrong with an olney cue. I own cues from some of the best cue makers in the world, and my daily player is an olney. Jeff's workmanship and playability is top of the line and way underrated.

Had two more buyers that didn't follow through on agreed sale. One guy in Australia, I might caution you in dealing with him. He requests lots of personal info., bank account numbers, etc. Agreed to Western Union payment and never heard from him again. Sellers BEWARE times are tough and lots of strange things going on here lately.
 
If you haven't hit with an Olney, you're mising one of the best built & best playing cues on the planet. Jeff builds cues slow, straight, tight, and perfectly aligned.

With the current wait on Jeff's cues, I'd keep it! I've been the proud owner of two Olney's for over 20 years now. One I keep in my case and the other is my daily player. Over the years I couldn't count the compliments I've had on looks alone.

When I've actually allowed anyone to hit a few with my player, they all agree on the fabulous hit. Also had people wonder why I'm the last of the holdouts in this area of the country on a Predator (or similar) shaft but, when they hit with mine, they understand. IMO, every Olney is built for playing....period. :thumbup:

Don't know what came over me. Thanks for confirming my thoughts of keeping it. Have not met anyone that doesn't think Jeff's cues are the best on the planet, especially for the price.

Want to keep this one pristine, my other Olney is my main player. This one will be in perfect condition when sold. May sell one of my two Joey's if I keep this one.
 
In my very humble opinion there are very few cuemakers who come close to the quality of Jeff's work. I feel sorry for anyone not fortunate enough to have shot with one of his cues.... here's a chance for someone.

Thank you Slyfox, There are only a handful of custom builders that everyone is in 100% agreement on. The only difference being Jeff's cues are way under priced for what you get. That may be why the wait period is years. Hope he doesn't read this.:smile:
