BECUE arrived - review

You can have a 100% increase and make 0.0001 cent into 0.0002 (fraction of a cent). Pretty insignificant.
But it would matter more if you made 1 thousand into 2 thousand.

You know absolutely nothing.

The tip contact is 1,000,000 ns. Doubling that is 2,000,000 ns. There. I just made 1million into 2million, so it is significant now.

1ns = 1billion seconds.

Here's another way to look at it. The ENTIRE lifespan of the contact of is 0.001s. 0.002 is double that.

Your entire lifespan is ~72yrs. Doubling that is 144yrs. That is still only 0.0000024% of the time that the earth has been around which means that the extra 72yrs of your life is insignificant. Which is probably true for your life, but it wouldn't be for mine.

For me this seems the blocking point despite that I really like the Becue approach. Very much better than any of that Revo crap.

Don't really want to play anything above 9mm anymore, maybe 10mm.

I agree. These high end synthetic cues hold a great deal of potential, on paper at least, of being capable of delivering the most consistent and precise cue available. It's going to be fun trying them out.

BECUE does not sell a break cue at this moment BUT they are developing one. :wink:

marek...Do they specifically advise against breaking with the BECUE? I've been breaking with my Revo shaft all the time, for the past 9 months, to no detrimental effect...so far. I still say it will be an interesting experiment to test the two cues side by side.

Not that i know of i will ask BECUE specifically about this subject,i guess their break cue will have different taper/radius/weight distribution which will be more suitable for break shot.When i get the answer i will relay it here:wink:

EDIT: BECUE guys say that breaking with BECUE shouldnt be "big deal",probably no problem connected with it

sir, intersting when you say you break using revo shaft. how does it compare to bk2 or other mezz break cue or any break cue.

One of the men pro's uses it as his regular break cue only I believe. For the life of me I can't remember his name. It's the brother of Jasmin Oschan (spelling off)
