Beds at Derby City

I have been trying to get a room at the casino. They tell me they are all Deluxe rooms and coome with either 2 queen size beds or 1 King size bed and they wouldn't confirm which one I would get.
I wonder how many people booked a room with 4 guys expecting 2 beds and there will only be 1 ?
Anyone have this experience in past years?
 
4 men in 1 bed?!!? plus the shafts!? MY LORD!

on a serious note, i'm sure there is room for negotiation if things go the wrong way. ie, get an additional bed + compensation.

one thing i learned about getting hotel rooms is to bring a woman who is willing to complain.

thats how my gf and i got an upgrade.

Sounds like you got in touch with someone who doesn't know what they are talking about. I have booked there the 3 years it has been there and that is the first time I have heard that.

I would try back and talk to someone else. Make sure you gave them the Derby code for the room.
 
Drive there in a UV or van and some sleeping bags. They have a nice parking garage. You won't be alone as many will be doing that.

The other is rotate sleeping shifts. Chances are you will be up most of the time and the beds will be empty more than full.

I spoke to a supervisor at Harrahs they said they can't guarantee and to call the morning before my reservation to check what bed I am getting.
I can cancel then if I choose to without the charge of the first day of the room in full.
I just wanted to share the expense of the room with another person if possible , if not I can do the 140 and stay by myself.

you could do what i did

lose about 20 k then win the action award.
free room for life.
