For all of you in the DFW Metroplex area who appreciate the craftsmen who preserve the heritage of our sport by carefully rebuilding the old classic tables, there is a benefit for one of those folks this weekend.

Art Ball has been the man behind some of the most amazing table rebuilds I have ever seen. His work is precise and elegant. Art has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and needs help to pay for his recovery. The tournament will be this Sunday at the Billiard Den.

I hope the players down there fill this place right up.

This is one thing I have seen all over the country in my travels is allot of passion and support shown for our unfortunate people and players in our industry.

it sounds like this will be a great event for a great cause.
