You think the Euros and the Asians are playing and training on BBs? At this rate the USA Mosconi Team might win one again by 2040.Come on Nick, BB 8 ball, take what you make is a pretty good game.
True, but Busty is otherworldly on everything. Past his prime though, I would also have to take Bergman. My money's on Bergman. He is otherworldly on those bar boxes.
Not so sure about Busti. i watched him a lot on Filipino streams and he's still playing at a very high level.True, but Busty is otherworldly on everything. Past his prime though, I would also have to take Bergman.
A player as great as Busty is always dangerous. In the early 2000`s I used to wonder how he ever lost. He was a killer in his day, fearless gambler. But I am sure everyone already knows this, just had to say it. For me he is one of the elite, special players of my lifetime. Hard to deny Father Time, he always wins, eventually. Not so sure about Busti. i watched him a lot on Filipino streams and he's still playing at a very high level.
I wonder if they were breaking the head ball or the second ball with those percentages.Bergman won 15-12. Here are a few stats from the match.
■ Bergman broke 15 times -- successful 13 times (resulting in 7 game wins and 6 losses), 1 foul (a loss), and 1 dry (a loss).
■ Bustamante broke 12 times -- successful 9 times (resulting in 4 game wins and 5 losses), 1 foul (a loss), and 2 dry (both losses).

Average minutes per game -- 5.4, including one timeout of a bit less than 7 minutes.
They both broke into the head ball every time. Bergman broke all 15 times from about 5 or 6 inches to his right of the head spot. Bustamante broke 9 times from his left of the head spot and 3 times from his right, with his distance off center varying a bit.I wonder if they were breaking the head ball or the second ball with those percentages.

No, the non-breaker's first inning can be after a failed break, but it can also be after the breaker is successful on the break but then turns the table over somehow (miss, foul, safe). In this match, 5 of the 12 games that ended on the beaker's first inning were after failed breaks and 7 of the 12 were after missed shots by the breaker. Is there a typo here? If only 5 breaks were not successful, how were there 12 one inning games by the non-breaker? Wouldn't the max be 5 games?

5What is Bergman's talent ranking among U.S. players?
In a hill-hill 9 ball match, I’d have Justin as an underdog against only SVB, Fedor, and Sky.What is Bergman's talent ranking among U.S. players?
Decheine was the only other one. Don't make him hang up his tie and dust off his cuesIn a hill-hill 9 ball match, I’d have Justin as an underdog against only SVB, Fedor, and Sky.
Look upwhat;s the score, thanks
No it’s not. This match is akin to Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy playing 36 holes of putt putt.Come on Nick, BB 8 ball, take what you make is a pretty good game.
