I still think you are confused! But I can 100% see where the confusion comes from...

Dude's failure to include SVB is inexplicable, I agree...but he had to put in a top ten. I believe people's votes on the page result in changes- introduction of new players/ deletion of existing players.

Woulda gone smoother to just post an AZB poll, keep the word "american" out, and then add a write-in option

But even then it's a very muddy question. So many games fall under "american pool". So many players are better at one game than others. And there's the age thing... best ever? best still living? best still active even if he's past his prime? best active and in his prime?

I can save you a lot of time and just tell you people will say lots of mosconi, efren, earl, shane
