Best Break Cues

So.whtas up, ace?
What did youget from this threat, as far as addressing the question you posed?

I didn't hear much about the BK3 but it's very clear that the majority of the people carry a break cue. Obviously proper aim and technique is of utmost importance. I'm sure we all have on occasion had great breaks with the proper weighed house cue. Several breaks cue were endorsed numerous times. It's also very clear that certain tips are believed to respond better to breaking.

I like my Orange Crusher had a white diamond tip put on it, cue made by Mike Gulyassy. It will move some balls. I caught it on sell for $200.00.

Whi ch means what, regarding your question?

You will recall that you asked ,'what is the best'.

Tell um.

Wonderful story, my brethren. Please do retell.

Ok but I prefer all stories to start of with "There In was"

There I was in a Denver pool room after a grueling two hour drive. In order to get to the room early enough to get my a$$ handed to me by the old Fogies that play in the morning I needed to leave the mountains by 6:00 am.

Just after arriving my ole buddy and target for the day Measureman showed up with his cues by his side. After breakfast and coffee we started a race to 9 in Ten ball. We usually play two of those sets and then an hour of straight pool(which I suck at).

After seven games I am up 6-1 with the help of two golden breaks(yes we count the ten on the snap as a win)with my new BW break cue. Shortly after that its hill/hill and Measureman takes it down.
I am not sure but I think he was sand bagging until the time was right for the beat down.

I have a BK2 and a PB2 w DI1 shaft. Very similar. BUT.... I bought the DI2 shaft and it makes a big difference. Seems more energy is transferred to the rack INMHO. SOnic tip is great and holds chalk with some type of grooved feeling.

I had been moving from one to the other breaker but this new shaft finally sealed which one is best..but the mezz does not jump well at all.

Honestly, It does not matter. I prefer a lighter break stick and I don't even break that hard anymore and get the same or better spread than somebody using a heavier cue. The brand is all preference, and so is the weight.

A wallabushka (house cue) could be you best break option for all that i know. I've owned a few break cues and the one I used most was a Kaiser Jump/Break (18oz).

I just would not spend a ton on a break cue though.

My two cents.

Use just your regular cue and break right-handed,,,,,,,,,,,,play one- pocket and straight pool !!!

get the Predator app that measures CB break speed for your phone. try different cues. I found there is almost no difference between break cues. it's all about technique. you turn it on, set your phone on the rail, it shows CB speed in mph. I found 5-10% difference at best. spend the $5 and save hundreds down the road :-)
