BEST cue maker who worked with you every step of the way

I'm getting tired of all the "who is the worse cue maker" threads. Lets face it, cue makers are people too, and maybe they were having the worse day they've had in a year the day you spoke with them. And lets not forget about the hundred of calls that come in everyday by people who want answers to this or that, but then never buy a thing. The only time i feel a cue maker should get a bad rep is if they build a bad cue and then not stand behind their work.

Here are a few of the cue makers i've purchased cues from and were great!!

1. PFD - Paul Drexler has been great to work with. I've changed the design like a hundred times and he has made them all. He also was nice enough to invite me into his home.

2. BCM - Bryan has done everything i asked. And he's stood by is work like a champ. Simple one of the best.

3. McDaniel - Bill McDaniel was great. The cue he made for me was custom and done 100%.

Lets give props to them instead of knocking them. I'm sure you're not the best to talk with each and everyday either.

Worked with you all the way . . .

Doug Patrick . . . SUPER nice guy who builds great cues . . . Very knowledgeable, A1 quality with emphasis on playability over anything else. I was totally satisfied from start to finish . . .

Joey Bautista. Although I have not gotten the cue yet he has been the best to communicate with by far. Kerry Zeiler was pretty good too...:D

Kerry Zeiler
Brent Hartman(I drive him nuts every week)
Chad McLennan

All three communicated and satisfied my anal retentive needs.

best to work with

Pete Ohman
Remembered every promise, every detail that mattered to me and delivered exactly what I wanted. He is a patient cuemaker who gets the details right. 5 successful cues thus far.

Great thread. Much more productive than attempting to ruin someones reputation and I wish I'd have thought of it.

Varney, Sailor, Starkey, and Ryan at Muellers, are all good examples of good guys and good cue makers/builders.

Bob Owen, Keith Josey, and the cue maker nobody seems to like.

I know that no one will agree with my opinion. I have had several cues built for me and have always gotten great service and a good product. I will be posting pictures of one he just built for me (my design) and I love it.

By the way....the cue builder is none other than DALE PERRY.

I like his product, service and price. I'm building up my collection and really don't intend on selling them. Thanks for your time.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Barry Cameron. I've had 2 cues built by him and both cues came out just as I asked and he has stood behind his cues 100%. Real easy to work with and great worksmanship.

Hey Cowboy-You are attemting to hijack this thread. In the old west, hijackers were lynched, violated and lynched again!!! Sometimes they were violated twice.

Use some of those stupid emocotion thingies on yourself.

I have ordered lot's of custom cues and some that have met all of my needs have been.

Keith Josey.. 1st on my list because he actually delivered on time and the cue was everything I imagined. Too bad I am a bonehead and sold the cue which I regret to this day.

Paul Drexler.. Made me a beautiful pair of cues to my specs as well as a very nice masse cue. He is a great cuemaker, not the quickest. But... super high quality.

John "Jack" Madden.. My most recent custom cue.. Absolutely gorgeous ebony on ebony cross cue. Great guy, and a pleasure to deal with start to finish.

I give all of the above props. Have dealt with others as well but these three are the best that I have dealt with. No need to flame the others
