The points are razor sharp at the top and the bottom, come together nice and sharp and as nearly perfect as I have seen

I would not have believed it had i not seen it ,yesterday

I ordered one for myself in ebony with titleist colors

pretty birdseye front

John Nemic in Dallas is fantastic

in the past 3 years he has developed into the very best full splice cue maker in the world

and I will bet on it

Now for the bad news,he recently had a heart attack and doesn't make very many cues and its hard to get one

He has had to become independent ,and I am lucky to be getting one of his wrapless cues

Don't think about buying mine because its not for sale, and I mean it

I will however listen to all unreasonable offers on the high side

I hope John gets well soon..

p.s.
The false pretense makes me ill.

i was making a joke about the fact that i was not going to sell the cue.
when i have a record of always selling, even when i plan to keep the cue forever

it was meant to be humorous
from the day i got on az,Joey has been this way

either way John Nemic is a close friend of mine who makes what i think

is the finest full splice cue in the world

I second the notion for pictures. I thought John Davis' full splice was somewhere up there.

These are the only pics I have now. It is in the finish stages. Will show when completed.

Dean's cue

Dean, you got lucky! I had some pieces already machined for this cue. Here it is just turned to size. I moved the points back from the joint end the way you wanted. It will have an ivroy joint, ivory hoppe ring. Small deco ring at joint and shaft.

Damn that's nice.

Koop - thinks it would look EVEN better with a SS joint

this is really going to be nice

one of the finest cue makers in the states called to tell me
just how great this accomplishment is

the beauty is the hit,i have never hit one of johns cues that did not play great
that is why he made the deano cues for me

i don't know what his plans are,but if you want a great cue,the best full splice cue in the world,i recommend you contact john now

just for fun i would like to submit johns cue that i am getting to a blind hit comparison with the very best cues on here,

just for fun or money,i bet john makes the best hitting cue

john is not involved in these extravagant claims of mine,he is a soft spoken engineer.

i am not bragging i am offering to bet, what should please a pool player more than that

Beautiful splice indeed and probably the best one with veneers ;)
Whats the balance point? I think, it would be difficult to reach a neutral to forward balance with ebony butt.

weight and balance

The ebony is cored with maple. The butt weighs 15.6 with no weight screw. With a 3.6 shaft the balance point is 18".

i don't know what 18 means
i do know i am willing to bet it hits as good or better than any cue you guys pick
if the test can be conducted fairly

I am willing to bet $1000 this cue plays the best

I am willing to put it up to a blind test,or allow 50 different pool players to
try this and any other so called great hitting cue and make a choice

John is a retired engineer,in my opinion a genius, and he makes these cues for the challenge
and in 60 years of pool playing I think his cues play the best

who thinks differently, and is willing to bet

and my cue has not been made yet
still unfinished
a pig in a poke

only thing i know is john nemic and that's enough for me

It means 18'' balance point from behind. I prefer 19-20, but its a matter of taste.

Its a matter of taste, too. How can you ensure the fairness of such a test? For instance, I don't like how Scruggs hits, but there are many players who say Scruggs has the best hit.
