Best Hitting Cue Ever

Have a local cuemaker put a taper and a joint pin on a second-growth hickory riot baton. No sh*t - mine is the best hitting stick I own, and I've never screwed a shaft on it.

The guy behind the curtain mustn't want anyone to know. :-)

You can change the stiffness of your cue by altering the taper and/or the diameter of the shaft.

I would have to say it's between my 97 Searing 4 point flat faced radial, Gus Szamboti 4 point 5/16 14, Abe Rich sneaky pete 3/8 10, 2003 South West 6 point 3/8 11. 20 year old Benson 5/16 14 merry widow.

I just got it within the last month or so. I will check that out for you and get back with ya.
 
I have a vintage 1978 Richard Black, and a 2004 Richard Black. They both hit great.Poolrod

I notice that Prewitt has not been mentioned here. How about Nitti and Blackcreek?

On the other hand why do you think Scruggs, Richard Black, etc. are the better hitting cues?
