So it only makes sense to have a "best of the East" The winners plays on TAR.

BTW- I assume the players are compensated through % of the DVD's. Anyone know?

and Ill take the East for a K if it happens.

we talk alot about la players .it should would be nice if we could see how they hold up against the northern part of california.for some reason that list just dont look right. does anybody out there agree?

there are a few names from norcal that i would add to the list, but none i would take out...maybe there should be more than 1 tournament if this thing works out.

and i agree that tang is probably the favorite if he really wants it, but everybody on the list has a decent chance.

Whilw it had to be hard to draw the line I was surprised to see Louis Ulrich on the list. Did he move back to San Diego.

I would have liked to have seen Mark Tadd and a Pac NW player on the list. Maybe JD or Dan Louie.

He lives in Vancouver which is right on the Wa/Ore border, but Glen is considered from Washington. Mike Z. would be considered Ore. best player.

FWIW, I think the tournament is a great idea and the list looks just about right (plus or minus a few... but as CCC stated they may have had prior commitments).

Louis Ulrich is back in SD....

I would have to say that Louis is he favorite and that if Tng is on he hasa chance. I got a chance to see Max play when he played ERNESTO AT Hardtimes a few months ago and I don't think he is the favorite although any of these guys has a chance.

I thnk the key to oipcking a winner here is the fact that it is a round robin format and I think that Lousi probably has thebest chance to win th most matches. Sorry my keyboard is glitching something fierce.

Anyways I gotta go to work, I can't afford to just play pool right now. maybe soon though....

Well...there you go...you "hardly" play in events...thus you have a hard time getting to play in events......(someday they will clear up that traffic on the 202)...So you would have a hard time beating him if your not playing...

I did not know there was a Rivalry between Scott and Mitch.....I just know that they seem to have played in a few finals in the last year...Scott was not always the winner.

I am not saying Mitch is better than either of you...Clearly in the last 10 years I would say that you and Scott are the most recognized as the top players in Arizona.......Andy Scott would have made it a trio had he kept playing.

Mitch as of late has achieved some accomplishments that kind of has put him at least in honerable mention position.

I am sure the organizers have there reasons...but IMO it would have been nice to see at least a 20 player field....It is kind of hard to limit the field to only 10 invited players and then label it the Best in the West....again...JMO....(from someone that I suspect would fall somewhere around a ranking of 9625 in the west) :)
