At Jimmy Reid's request, I am listing his new e-bay buy it now complete DVD set for him. It is 69.99 and that is 70% off the original selling price. Jimmy is in bad health and is in recovery from stage 4 cancer of the brain, neck and throat. He is now a member of these forums (Jimmy Reid) but is not able to post as of yet due to health reasons. I set up his account with the permission of the administrators for him. I will be visiting him on Thursday 2/5/09 and will try to get him to post a few notes for you on az. In the meantime, Jimmy's only means of support is the sale of his extensive knowledge in the form of dvd's. He was voted the world's best money player by his peers. Jimmy taught me to play when I was just a youngster and is a true friend and mentor even now. I have the complete set and it is the real deal. You will not be disappointed. Thanks for doing this. I was a member of Jimmy's site for a long time (until he was hacked & it became nearly impossible to keep up). What & how he teaches is super and he always had time for me on the phone. Already have most of his stuff, but looking forward to the most recent instruction on his diamond systems. He sent me a cd of them when when first starting to commit them to disc. Hope they're live lessons on the new variety.

as you may know, i bought an extra set of Jimmy's DVD's to benefit Jimmy. they have been sitting on my desk in the original USPS package for months. [sorry]

but for others, i will sell this set for the best price offered and i only require that the money is Paypaled directly to Jimmy.

i will let this run for 1 week and this set will go to the highest bidder.

and just so you all know, i paid about $80 on eBay and i will not receive any money for the sale as you can see above so i hope you know that this was not a money making proposition, it was just to help another AZ friend.

I have bought these dvds directly from Jimmy. I am going thru a rough time selling all my cues and books and instructional items myself otherwise Iwould buy more from him to support him. Last time I talked to him before my car accident last year, he is truly one of the awesome people to have known or meet. He told me about the chemo he was going thru, is he still in Florida?

Yes, Jimmy is living at his mother's house in Port Saint Lucie which is between Ft. Pierce and Stuart, Fl. Thanks to all of you for the kind words.
 
I just bought a set of the videos and I'm sure they'll be as great as everyone says. The banking and kicking sections look especially interesting. :thumbup:

I too own this set, and I tell people they're the best videos on banking and kicking that I've seen. I wish the best for Jimmy in his recovery.

Get well soon Jimmy. I just bought a set of the dvds off of ebay as well. Can't go wrong with these dvds since he is one of the best I have ever seen. I live in Chesapeake, Va (home of the US Open) and have watched him play in person so mant times. I have never been lucky enough to actually meet Jimmy in person. Hopefully that will change one day. My prayers are with you Jimmy!

I just got off the phone with Jimmy Reid and he sends his love to all of you forums members that have shown how much you care. Today has been a splendid day for him as far as sales of his dvd's and he thanks all of you from the bottom of his heart. Keep his good feeling going and let's band together and sell more for him. We know that they are a great value. All beginning as well as advanced players will benefit from Jimmy's expertise.
