I'm watching for about the hundredth time Danny D. and Ronnie Allen playin' 1 hole back in 88'. Its one of the greatest matches IMO ever put on video/DVD. Second favorite is Efren and Rempe in 96, 11-10. Along with a couple others I watch them over and over. So which ones do you watch? Don't remember? drag em' out and watch em' again!

I've watched the SVB vs Alex race to 100 about 5 times... that's about 100 hours right there lol

Hohman and Owen US open final. World summit Phong Pang Chow (spelling?) and busta (can't remember the year.) There's more than I can not conjure at the moment been up for 19 hours without coffee.

Snooker- 82 world championship semi final between Jimmy White and Alex Higgins. Maybe the best single run of balls under pressure in any cue game ever with Alex's match saving break.

Varner vs. Sigel

Hill to Hill match & Nick dogs the 9 in the side. Mike comes to the table with the balls close to one another & launches a ball off the table & concedes to Nick. This is when they were both in their prime & Mike was beating Effren routinely.

The best- 1996 Color of Money Strickland v. Reyes. This has to be the best 9 ball match of all time.

Other really good matches:
Archer v. Rempre at the sands 14 in 1991

Medina v. Incardona from the same event where Danny puts up 9 silly racks in a row.

From 1991 Williards, there are two reyes matches that are really great. One he is playing Hatch and the other he is playing Parica.

1990 Lexington Strickland v. Bollman.
1988 Tara Open Strickland v. Reyes and Reyes v. Strickland
2001 Masters Reyes v. Souquet
1999 US Open Archer v. Luat.

to name a few.....

One of the best money matches of all time without a doubt was Buddy Hall Versus Grady Matthews back in the 70's when Buddy Hall was living in Shreveport, LA. Grady claims that not 3 shots were missed between them in a weeks worth of play. At the end of the week Buddy was up by a couple of sets.

The 2002 World Snooker Final Peter ebdon vs Stephen Hendry, Ebdon pulls it out in the final frame to win 18-17, most exciting match in any cuesport I've ever seen.

1999 World Snooker semi-final Hendry vs O'Sullivan, phenomenal display of skill from both players, Hendry wins it.

1999 U.S. Open final Archer vs jeremy Jones

The 2004 pro event at the Super Billiards Expo in Valley Forge, winners bracket final - Parica vs Souquet, really great playing from both players, Parica had some really tough run-outs. I don't think it was recorded though.

I love this one to. nick comes back from like 10-3 down in a race to 11.

-Nick Varner VS Mike Segal, awesome match, hill hill, nick misses the 9, ties the cueball and 9 together, Mike segal gets mad and just nails the cueball off the table.

-Alex Pagulayan VS Fong Pang Chao, 2004 World pool champions, insane match.

-Efren Reyes VS Steve Davis, 2000 World Pool Championships. Efren gets to the hill first at 8-2 and Steve Davis comes back to win 9-8. Awesome match.

-Jimmy White VS Shannon Daulton 1999 World Pool Championships, qualifying rounds race to 7. Shannon in the pre match interview says "I will very easily win this match". Shannon is on the hill first, but Jimmy White wins 7-6. Jimmy plays some of the most amazing combo shots I have ever seen. Shannon can't believe his eyes

-Kuo Po Chang VS Wu Chia Ching, finals of the 2005 World pool championships, race to 17. Kou Po Change is on the hill with a dominating 5 rack lead. Wu Chia Ching runs the next 5 racks to win the World Pool championships hill hill.

-Earl Strickland VS Francisco Bustamante, 2002 World Pool Championships final. Francisco is up the whole match until 12-12, race to 17. This is a flawless match with very few errors. Could probably count the errors on ONE hand. Earl wins 17-15.

Best 1-hole:

Efren vs alex 2006 derby & Efren vs miller 2006 derby.

Efren was in dead punch & it was retarded.

I think it was 2007.... Chohan vs Owens us open 1-pocket. Chohan was a monster.

I have heard about this match and have never seen it, will have to get it one of these days.

Mike Sigel's 150 and out against Mike Zuglan is quite possibly the best pool ever shot by any human, period. I have watched that a million and one 1 times, and still learn something new every time I see it.

1996 Legends of 9 Ball
Efren Reyes Vs Jimmy Wetch
Efren Reyes Vs Jim Rempe

Efren was down 5-1 against Wetch and mounts one of the most impressive comebacks I have ever witnessed before or since. The hill-hill game against Jim Rempe is on youtube - great stuff!

Efren Vs King James - Hill-Hill

Efren sure did beat up a lot of Jimmy's that day.

These 2 matches speak for themselves and attest to why almost everyone considers Efren the best player ever. This was Efren is his prime.

Vs Rempe... I highly recommend this video to anyone that wants to watch two great players with immeasurable heart. This is quite possibly the greatest, most exciting 9 ball match I have ever seen.

Strickland vs Davenport at the Sands in the early 90's. Fantastic match.

Sang Lee winning the World 3-C Championship is great too.

I can hear Terry typing all the way in CA....I know its coming lol
