Best NON-Simonis like cloth

I tried some proline not long ago have too say I thought it played great really fast wore good for the price couldn't have asked for more
 
Thanks Busboy... but that is still a worsted cloth (Simons like)

I am looking at the possibility of Mercury Ultra or Titan, and cannot decide which would be better
 
Champion makes the right cloth for any table and any conditions. They need to sponsor some events, but it's hard to get your foot in the door when 90% of good size tournaments use Diamond tables that come with Simonis cloth. Oh well, it's just as well. If they started to sponsor events, Champions price would get crazy like Simonis. Johnnyt
 
Mercury cloth plays similar to Simonis but is less expensive and wears very well. I'd highly recommend it buddy :thumbup:

Championship cloth is my favorite. Johnny Archer had it in his pool room last time I visited there.

I really like their cloth and it doesn't seem to start out as slippery as Simonis
 
I think Mali is one of the more popular non-worsted cloths. If there is such a thing as popular non worsted.
 
In my experience as a table mechanic, I have found Championship Mercury Ultra to be much better than Championship Titan. I've found that Titan pills (the little fuzz balls) quite a bit more than Mercury Ultra.

For a barbox, I prefer Mercury Ultra over anything else. I feel that the speed is about perfect, whereas Simonis 860 and 860HR are a bit too fast for the smaller tables. But, to each their own.

I'm curious also......Why would you want a non-worsted cloth to play pool on?

I agree about Champion cloth. I've installed it on 6 tables now and it's a superb cloth.
 
It's funny that everyone that give hi reviews of the championship 3030 that you all seem to fail to mention just how fast the cloth gets the more it wears, like a skating rink fast, and if you all didn't notice that about the cloth...then you really don't know much about cloth;) Mercury Ultra is Titan cloth shaved down to the thread, so it's the same cloth. My first choice when I was recovering bar tables was Simonis 860, second choice was always Titan.
