Best Player in state - simplified and on track

I live in NM the best players that I know of are Jerry Cordova and Mickey Provincio although Mickey may not play much anymore. But he can play. I really dont know any players in Alb but I'm sure there are some real players up there.

I am a longtime friend and road partner of Jerry Cordova and I know Mickey quite well from my days living in El Paso...

When Mickey is hitting them good he is a scary offensive player.

Some others from New Mexico would be Wilfred Maestas, Nick Tafoya and Anna Kostanian.

See I knew someone could name some of the others. Wilfred and Nick are real good players and Anna is coming along real nice. I seen her play a few times and she will be something special. Not that she aint special now. She won the big tourney in our little town and played really good. She is a breath of fresh air for the sport.

Can't have been that long. He won banks at DCC.

Right after that I think, I have a pretty good source.
His local hangout is right down the road from me.

His two nicknames around here were BlockBuster (anybody wanna buy a DVD outta my trunk?) and Bin Laden (as in every Law Enforcement agency on the planet is looking for him!).

Forgive me if I'm incorrect, but I'm pretty sure that Glenn Atwell, Mike Zimmerman and Damian Pongpanik are all current residents of Oregon, and Stan Tourangaeu is from Canada. Mike just relocated recently, and Damian goes to school there.
Mike and Linda moved to Medford, OR...I know, they have one of my 9ft Diamonds...LOL...and has everyone counted Rich Geiler out of playing anymore?...LOL He's a better player than those mentioned, except Dan Louie.

New York: Tony Robles, Mika Imonen, Jonathon Smith,

Not taking anything away from Jonathan Smith but there are a few players better then him........ Hatch, Park, Zuglan off the top of my head.

Well I hope ur for sure about that.. I'd hate to see someone posting suff about me that wasn't true.. is ur local hangout Whitey's by any chance.. and Larry told me, when we were down at DCC that he was leaving for California from KY... so i unno, but even if he's in jail, he's still one of the toughest players (in any game,) along with Travis Stamper in West Virginia..

I was thinking the same. Not to mention Ignacio Chavez and Danny Barouty.

Well Chavez isnt a New Yorker. Even when he was here he lived in Jersey. Dont forget Ginky also when he is in the right state of mind.

I agree with you Jeff Clark is a very solid player, also Dago Huber is a tough player out of Green River Wyoming, and a great guy.

Uath - I see you have Mark, Damian And Ace. Tommy Baker has been the best player in Utah (except for Tadd when he's playing) since moving there in 1994 or 95. Others to consider Rick John, Cris Muirbrook, Ron Pizel and Jeff Clark.

Wy - Tony Wert, Dago Huber
ID -Tim Joesph

I met and played that Mike Kid from Maine about 4-5 years ago. He came down to Memphis because his instructor(?) was there and he knows Paul Frankel. The kid was pretty good back then, kinda cocky but played good. he was always talking about winning Joss NE tournaments and Main state championships... lol

i think he was about 17 then.

After talking himself up for 3 days, Nick Vita offered to play him some even and Mike decided that wasn't a good idea.
vita has no chance playing mike any kind of rotation i dont think.

I have to jump in here for Chris Mitchell "THE KID" who plays out of NIP n Cue in Parkersburg,WV. Won the World Champ. yr before in Vegas bar box. I have been out of action for about 2 months, but I have to say for an amateur,he is very strong!! Hard to beat here-anybody else met him at Vegas?

You may be right, that was 2003 or 2004 when I met him. He wanted no part of Vita then but now may be a different story.
