Best pool mechanic in DC?

Can someone recommend to me who they think/know is the best pool mechanic in the Washington DC metro area?

I only know Kingpin who works for Champion Billiards (don't know if he still works for them or not tho since it's been a long time since I seen him). Anybody else better than him?

Or, who would you recommend that can set up a Gold Crown IV that goes to the DC area?

John Burns 410-935-3617 In my opinion John is the best of the best. He has done thousands of tables and if a super nice guy to deal with. Very fair prices, does great work, What can i say. He's a pro.

My buddy Shane Foster does a bang up job if you want to get a qoute from him... Probably be able to get you a good rate if you tell him Jesse J sent ya :grin:

My partner is KP's old Mechanic for about 5 years they worked at Champion Billiards we can do any pool table any style his name is Dave Gutridge hes got over 17 years of experience in Billiards and Gaming let me know

Seems like everyone is coming out of the wood works to fill your request on this one...seeings how you asked for the best mechanic in DC:D I only know of John Barns work personally, so ask everyone to send you some pictures of the work they've done so you can SEE for yourself who you want to do the work, instead of listening to a bunch of mechanic's saying they're the best....pictures speak a 1,000 words, and put all BS to rest:D

Agreed- I can knock down/ move/ setup atable, but I wouldn't want me to install my table!

It is just like building bicycle wheels...just about anyone with basic knowledge and proper tools can put something together, but it takes an artiste to do it perfectly!

John Burns will do a great job with no worries. I don't know if he's a little more expensive but i know it's cheaper to do it once to your satisfaction than to do it twice because you got a little cheaper price.

With all the positive about John Burns, it sounds like he's the man! Especially with an "endorsement" from RKC!
