Best pool related songs?

This song wasn't originally written about pool but I've changed some of the words to make it fit the pool world. I hope you agree and can relate. Here's my version of Kenny Roger, "She Believes In Me."

While she lay sleeping, I stay out late at night and shoot some pool.
And sometimes, oh the nights can be so cruel.
It's good when I finally make it home, all alone, while she lays dreaming.
I try to get undressed without the light.
And quietly she says, how was your night?
I come to her and say it was alright, and I hold her tight.
And she believes in me.
I'll never know just what she sees in me.
I told her some day, if I can get in stroke, and I don't choke.
I just might find a way.
But she has faith in me, and so I go on trying faithfully.
And who knows maybe on some special night, I will find a way. While she waits for me, while she waits for me.
While she lays waiting.
I stumble to the kitchen for a bite.
And I see my little cue stick in the night.
Just waiting for me like a secret friend, there's no end.
I think about a shot I missed or two.
When I was torn between the things I should do.
Then she says for me to wake her up, when I'm through.
God her love is true.
And she believes in me.
I'll never know just what she sees in me.
I told her some day if my game is right.
I'll find a way, find a way
While she waits for me, (Big ending) While she waits for me.

I incorporated this song, into a book I wrote, because I want to bring to light the true feeling of a pool player and make people aware of the sacrifices others may be making while we run around trying to live out our dreams.

This song isn't strictly pool related, but every pool player who has a woman at home should identify with this one....

"Good Hearted Woman" by Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8yZPVYFc0M

A long time forgotten the dreams that just fell by the way
The good life he promised ain't what she's livin' today
But she never complains of the bad times
Or the bad things he's done, lord
She just talks about the good times they've had
And all the good times to come

(She's a good hearted woman in love with a good timin' man)
She loves him in spite of his ways she don't understand
(With teardrops & laughter they pass through this world hand in hand)
(A good hearted woman, lovin' a good timin' man)

He likes the bright lights and night life and good time friends
And when the party's all over she'll welcome him back home again
Lord knows she don't understand him but she does the best that she can
A-this good hearted woman, lovin' a good timin' man

(key change up)

(She's a good hearted woman in love with a good timin' man)
(She loves him in spite of his ways she don't understand)
(With teardrops & laughter they pass through this world hand in hand)
A good hearted woman, lovin' a good timin' man

(She's a good hearted woman in love with a good timin' man)
She loves him in spite of his ways she don't understand
(With teardrops & laughter they pass through this world hand in hand)
A good hearted woman, lovin' a good timin' man

The video for George Thorogood's Bad To The Bone is pool-themed, and features Willie Mosconi as Bo Diddley's stakehorse. Willie is accompanied by some gorgeous arm-candy who looks like way too much woman for Willie. See it here.

Speaking of George Thorougood....he came into a pool hall and played a buddy of mine for some cash.....It was too good to be true.

I am redoing hustlin' by rick ross right now (how I came across this thread) When we are done in the studio we are going to film a vid and put it on youtube. "He said oh wait, we play take what you make, I turn and grin then drop the eight on the break." LOL Having fun with this

Neil Young has a song called "Sedan Delivery", which is not really about pool but it does contain this verse:

Last night I was cool at the pool hall,
I held the table for eleven games,
Nothing was easier than the first seven,
I beat a woman with varicose veins...

Great thread by the way!
