Louie Lemke had cd out before he passed. It was mostly blues and not too shabby!!!
This song wasn't originally written about pool but I've changed some of the words to make it fit the pool world. I hope you agree and can relate. Here's my version of Kenny Roger, "She Believes In Me."
While she lay sleeping, I stay out late at night and shoot some pool.
And sometimes, oh the nights can be so cruel.
It's good when I finally make it home, all alone, while she lays dreaming.
I try to get undressed without the light.
And quietly she says, how was your night?

I incorporated this song, into a book I wrote, because I want to bring to light the true feeling of a pool player and make people aware of the sacrifices others may be making while we run around trying to live out our dreams.

Speaking of George Thorougood....he came into a pool hall and played a buddy of mine for some cash.....It was too good to be true.
