Of all the rooms mentioned so far, I've been in
Hardtimes, Bellflower
Chris's, Chicago
Qmasters, VA
Snookers, RI
California Billiard Club
Big Dogs, Des Moines
and, of course Fargo Billiards
They're all outstanding rooms, imo. There's two more in Minneapolis that deserve mention: Shooters/Burnsville, and Two Stooges/Fridley
Mike...True, each is outstanding in individual ways. Your room is outstanding in EVERY way!

The California Billiard Club in Mountain View, CA is also a great room, that is well thought out and well maintained. The equipment is in excellent condition ( >20 Gold Crowns) with good lighting. The tables in the smaller tournament area (where the monthly members tend to play) have tighter pockets. They also have two heated 3C tables and 3 6x12 snooker tables (I believe 2 are covered for snooker and one for golf). Every time I've been there they've given me clean newly polished balls. The polishing machine is right at the counter. Not sure how much action is there but I've never had a problem getting a game for small stakes anyway. Nice group of regulars that run the gamut from attorneys to retirees.
Nice place with decent food and alcohol.
