Of all the rooms mentioned so far, I've been in

Hardtimes, Bellflower

Chris's, Chicago

Qmasters, VA

Snookers, RI

California Billiard Club

Big Dogs, Des Moines

and, of course Fargo Billiards

They're all outstanding rooms, imo. There's two more in Minneapolis that deserve mention: Shooters/Burnsville, and Two Stooges/Fridley

Mike...True, each is outstanding in individual ways. Your room is outstanding in EVERY way!

The California Billiard Club in Mountain View, CA is also a great room, that is well thought out and well maintained. The equipment is in excellent condition ( >20 Gold Crowns) with good lighting. The tables in the smaller tournament area (where the monthly members tend to play) have tighter pockets. They also have two heated 3C tables and 3 6x12 snooker tables (I believe 2 are covered for snooker and one for golf). Every time I've been there they've given me clean newly polished balls. The polishing machine is right at the counter. Not sure how much action is there but I've never had a problem getting a game for small stakes anyway. Nice group of regulars that run the gamut from attorneys to retirees.

Nice place with decent food and alcohol.

Cool, and I'm thinking about moving out there!!
I will be there next weekend to check it out.

There are a couple of nice places in minneapolis. Shooters in burnsville and two stooges to the north. These place have been there doing great thing for pool for a long time.

There's also cr's and a place called biffs that also got it goin on.

Of course mikes in fargo has raised the bar as far as the showcase and everything else you can imagine these places in minnesota have stood the test of time and just keep on doin it.

You always have a tournament or something going on everyday.

Pool players heaven.................

The new Snooker's in Providence RI. Great room , great people. The second home of the New England Pool and Billiard Hall of Fame. Seeing is believing.

Have to give a shout out to Shooters in Olathe KS. Great tournaments and atmosphere with one of the best owners around. Tables are kept in good condition and plenty of action.
