What's the best cleaner for carrying in ur case?

I carry a small piece of special WHITE 3M abrasive pad (not sure what the correct/proper name for it is). It is much less abrasive than the commercial stuff you buy at the grocery store. Cleans my shaft up lickety-split (don't you just LOVE that expression!). Photo attached.

Cowboy, You use wax ??? I'm very surprised. Bare naked (wood only) shaft for me !!!

No chemicals. Two small pieces of micro-mesh, 1 each of 4k and 6k. A small piece of leather.... like 2x3", to burnish. NO chemicals, none, nada, zilch.

I have used this and it works well. I wont use it on pristine shafts but as the age it cleans them and leaves them slick.
