Best table you ever Played on?

Brunswick Anniversary

A Brunswick Anniversary with green 860 Simonis. Single shimmed. The table cost the guy about $1500 from a old hall in Upstate NY. It plays flawless, as all they other Annivesary's I had the opportunity to play on. This one has ball returns and no ashtrays. There's something about the wide flat rails that make these tables my favorite.

Finally! The Anniversary's were the nuts! Big heavy monsters with very thick slate. These old tables play soooo good. The balls roll perfect and the pockets will take any shot. Get one of these and put 4.5" pockets on it and you have the best table in America. George Michaels in San Francisco has a couple that he restored for sale. Not cheap but worth every penny.

Second choice was the 9' Brunswick Sport King that Ernesto set up for me in my old pad. Many great players came through there and played on that table. To a man they loved it. Why I ever sold that table I don't know.

I also favor the old Gold Crowns (1's and 2's) and the new GCV. The Diamond Pro-Am is another terrific pool table. I have one now in my home.

This is it for me...

Blatant plug for the cue ball, Salem, Oregon...all it's pool tables are centennials or anniversaries...played there yesterday.

My buddies 10x5 Brunswick anniversary table, but my Brunswick Gibson Table plays great too.

the diamonds are nice tables, well built Sturdy....built to last and fit and finish is good The rails play nice on them....
... but i cant get over how big/easy the side pockets are and much tighter the corners are compared to them.....

JMO on Diamond tables...the onlything i dont like about them are the pockets ive only played on the 7 foot smarttable quite abit...are Diamonds all like this?????.

i know one thing for sure id rather play on a Diamond than a Global/valley anyday

i have found that $100, brunswick, craigslist-find tables play the best.

Beach Billiards Santa Ana model...

8 foot with Simonis 860 and Championship K55 rails.

Why is it the best table I've ever played on?........

Cause it's the first table that I can ever say, "It's mine and it's in my house"

Just the most perfect table ever.

nice looking table, kim steel's are great... but i don't think anythng with a plastic pocket liner that is higher than the rails is perfect. Don't know if that plastic rubs off on the shaft like brunswick, but I can't stand that. I've got the RKC GCI diamondized version coming and i'm switching out the pocket liners to leather as first order of business
