Eric's Big Announcement was that there would be a Big Announcement coming. He knew what it was but he wasn't telling outside of it would be great for pool.

Here comes Archer with The Big Announcement. He knows what it is but he isn't telling outside of it will be great for pool.

Is it just me or does it feel like when you pass those roadside signs announcing "its close" and "almost there" etc ? If we get this Big Announcement and its just some roadside stand selling trinkets and cheese wiz I'm going to be pissed.

Plus, I have a tip for JA, The APB (is that what it is ?) seems to treat the pool fans like 2nd class citizens, as did Bonus Ball. I would just like to suggest to try a bit more fan-responsive pose, you might want to take a look at TAR or CSI. The way they treat people is the way people like it. Its sort of the difference between how you treat a customer and how you treat a sucker? We get, as fans, that the pro organizations see us as something to be used, but you might want to become a little more adept and pretending you care. Fake it better. Watch Phil Michelson signing autographs.

There is a difference between a client & a customer & it is not how most would define it.

The difference is how the person being paid perceives the person paying them.

You know man, I don't mind when people see me that way, I get it, I really do. Its when they don't have enough class to at least act like they care, to at least hide their disdain for me as a person. Again, to use Phil as an example, I'm sure deep inside he sees most fans as chumps that can't play, but look at how he is out there signing and shaking hands and making friends. I don't mind people trying to get over on me, but please do it better than to come to my door announcing "I'm here to screw you (again)".

I'm sorry you feel that the intent of my post was to make you look bad. It wasn't. If you feel as though it made you look bad, again, sorry, wasn't my intent.

As far as you figuring you can look into my mind and judge my intent. You can't.

The part where I'm supposed to respond as though what you say my intent was is what my intent was. I'll pass.

The part where you pity me is interesting.

The powerful pinky thing is great and welcome to all that juice you have in pool. You are right. I have none (perhaps more pity will help me with that).

The revoke your gold is interesting. I think you know I can't do that.

It seems like I hurt your feelings and I'm sorry about that, again, not my intent.

Shades of the IPT, when they would send out Press Releases about a forthcoming announcement. Turns out the joke was on us. Each "announcement" only led us to the next announcement. Amazing how many people (and pool players) went for the Trudough con game. I still laugh when I think about it. I warned a lot of guys to be careful and don't bet the farm on the future of the IPT. They preferred to buy the dream, just like they did with Bogus Ball.

I promise to always tell the truth as I see it. I've got no horse in this race, other than the integrity of the game. This guy Badi who put on the Ultimate Ten Ball, he's the real deal! Put your money and support behind him! That's my opinion based on what I see so far.
 
It's Amazing Jay. You are always in the know about everything. You warn everyone about the impending doom for every single thing that has happened which is bad in pool.

What's this all about???



Fatboy - In the midst of all the Bonus Ball chaos you jumped in here and told eveybody to sit tight because you knew who was really behind everything. If I recall correctly, you mentioned something along the lines of there being serious money sitting on the sidelines just waiting to get in the game (that was my take anyway).

Now.....you got nothing.....and you shake your head with disdain for this being pointed out.
