This is his brain child , with the lack of guys promoting the game Roy is going all out to promote the game of one pocket like we have never seen before ,, what he's doing simply deserves a standing ovation,, my hats off to you Roy ,

Come on guys let's give this guy some props he's putting together a great thing with these one pocket matches for the belt he made this stuff happen we need to support the guys promoting pool there ain't to many doing it many have quit because it's a thankless job , the guy deserves some love here

The Belt was a nice touch and with his share of the loot, Tony should have trouble holding up his pants without it!
 
Roy's a great guy and a true sportsman. He was one of the first to walk over and congratulate Tony after the match. He also gave Dennis a nice fist bump for his outstanding effort.

Don't worry, you will see Dennis in action again. He's not God and he can lose, but it won't happen too often. :smile:

Agreed, Roy is a quality guy and has absolutely made a notable attempt to light a fire on some pool.

Hopefully, the belt will take off and if there are no defenses of it by its holder within a year, belt goes back to Roy.

Yep backer and friend,, and the one had the winners belt made for the champion of the big money one pocket matches
It's a great thing he's doing there has been a buzz around where I play had several ask for the info to watch , that certainly can't hurt the game that needs all the help it can get
A lot of people say one pocket is boring can't ever be popular, I'd say it's the fastest growing game of all of them , it's starting to attract a much younger group of players and I believe it's the game of the future

Cool. I think the belt is awesome. Should somehow go to each big$$$$ match one-hole winner. That match was EPIC and major props to Daniel and crew for streaming it.

Yep cudoes to Daniel also for streaming it for free mind you , I saw 2700 viewers 3rd night wonder what the high was ,, taint to bad for a game everyone says is boring

I know Roy has shared some guidelines for his expectations of the belt's handling, but I do not recall further.

I would worry about the holder making match difficult though.
 
Roy seems like a great guy and great promoter of 1 hole. The belt is a good thing for the game and I hope it pumps even more life into the game of 1 hole. Johnnyt
 
Lord Stanley's Belt

I think it would be cool to add an engraved tag/placard to the belt every time it changes hands. Name of the winner, opponent, date, purse, etc...

Similar to the Stanley Cup.
