Bigger is not necessarily better.Bobalicious said:I'm trying to improve my break and decided to post on here to see if we can't "pool" our resources and see if anyone can help me get a bigger and better break.
I was also wondering if I should even be working on my breaks yet. I've only been playing pool for 1.5 years and "I can make a ball or two" but am always looking to improve my game. Any suggestions on the next step?
My first suggestion is to make sure the rack is tight. A loose rack (even just 1 or 2 loose balls) will make your break look weak.
Lastly, your break will improve with practice, just like any other part of your game. Just give it time. When you are losing tournaments or vast sums of cash because you can't break at a competitive level, get a coach.
