At the time I didn't realize this is probably the biggest sneakie Timi ever built! Wow! I can't believe my luck.
Fancy rings at the rear.
Custom joint.
Custom joint rings.
There is so much going on with the Cue it looks fake!
On top of all that it was made with a Katz house Cue! And made with a Katz shaft!
Wow. I can't believe it. It is the biggest Tim Scruggs sneakie pete and the best playing one out of all the dozens of Tim Scruggs sneakies I have owned over the decades.
I take it out alot with all the thieving going on. Haven't decided if if is to fancy a sneakie to make my player.
The full shot shows how big a sneakie it truely is! The jump break in the group picture was begged away I am sad to say I will miss it.
I might have to play with my other plain old Cochrans nd Scruggs Cues though.;)
Nick :)

I heard from a man who heard from a women who hears from a boy who heard from a girl who heard from a dog who heard from a cat who heard from a mouse that this is not a real Scruggs cue.

Fake or real

Before everybody jumps on the band wagon I just got off the phone with Tim Scruggs and he states that this cue is genuine built at the time when Bob Frey was with him.

You are. Expert. It is one but ugly Cue! Not even my oldest daughter can make it look good. She will be a PHD Chemist soon.
Good thing she listened to me. I taught her math.

All you experts are wrong as usual.
I am not suprised.
Nick:)

I didn't know a mouse, car or dog could talk but its for sure none of you have a sense of humor. It was ment as a joke before you all start crying. Oh by the way Nick you have a nice looking daughter but she would look better holding my new king of kings black boar cue lol.

You're right. Its an awful looking cue. The term 'fugly' comes to mind. But all that matters is that you're happy with it. Right?

- B <----------- hopes for your daughter's sake that your math skills are LIGHTYEARS above and beyond your English/grammar/spelling skills.

One thing I know

This is one of the best shooting Cues on the planet.
As for it being a Scruggs, it is for true.
As for the materials.
Katz bar Cue and Katz shaft no way $700.00. low estimate
Timi to reproduce the Cue. Another $1200.00. low estimate
My price?
Not for sale.
If an opinion on the authenticity of a build is needed I will be sure to contact someone that knows more than I do. Timi.
This was too easy to bother him over. I did ask after I purchased the thing. Always nice to be sure.
Mike Webb saw the Cue before I purchased it.
I told him I was pretty certain it was authentic. He agreed everything was the way Timi did things. He recognised the exicution of the work. I recognised the materials used.
When I called him back to inform him the bar Cue was a Katz I could hear his jaw drop. Also to inform him if he ever saw that construction in the proings proings again to buy all of them they had. He was blown away as I was also.

Nick :)

Again, congrats on the pickup! Glad you love it.

Going forward, can you attempt to spell 'Timmy' correctly? Its kind of absurd that such a super fan and close personal friend can't even get that right.

Thanks.

See what I mean?!

Nick seriously man...

That's what I'm talking about.... Why is it as soon as you get a cue you talk it up and now this sneaky is worth 1900?? Come on Nick you know it's not worth that at all Or anywhere close. I'm just glad you say it's not for sale cause 1900??? 4 pt 4 veneer hoppe cues from 2000 year up bring that, I know if it's yours you'll say they bring 3500-4000 but that's u talking up the value cause it's yours

There might be only 1 person "your buddy" that would pay you that amount & honestly I doubt he would shell out that kinda coin for it either

Do I think it's a Scruggs??? Well ?? Ya know what it could be, but if it is, it's the most ugly one out of his shop, ive owned bigger and it's sad he never did logo it. Getting someone to believe it will be the hard part harder getting 1900

Then do I believe you called "Timmy" yes do I believe your buddy did not sure I'm 50/50 but honestly no matter what he said, at this point Tim doesn't remember a whole lot of stuff too well there is no way you could lead me to believe he could recall this cue

Thanks.

Write Timmy 1000 times for your homework today or go sit in the corner with your pointed "Nicki" cap.
"country" Bob

Hay Bob

Bob is one of a very few people that knows Scruggs Cues construction on an expert level.
I sold the last Scruggs sneakie ever made and except for this Cue is is ths biggest sneakie.
David you are an idiot. You sell crap. Sold me a $3200 Cochran and PMed me this information the following Christmas.

Anyway, I would be careful if you jack up over a shot with it. Probably wont last too long.

I will leave this feed back for you when I figure out how to do it. Every one out there beware of this man and what he sells and how is is represented.
I can't understand why I haven't done this earlier. But really he left his own feed back.
