That's pretty good Nick!

What I said. Hay Ron. One of my buddys and I were laughing about the Cue not being a sneakie. Not a true sneakie true. Better bait than anything I have ever played with. You can't see me playing with this Cue and not want to step up.
People that I would have to spot alot are asking what they can spot me?
One friend wanted to bite on $500 a game snoker. All his woffin too.
All I could answer was I got it. And it weighs within .10 oz of my Ivory joint Scruggs and my 8 point Cochran! The last Cues weigh exactly the same unweighted to the .01 of an ounce. Kind of spooky.
Nick :)

I never really cared what they were playin with I watched how they played! My worst whipping came from a guy with a warped house cue! Lol Take care, Ron

Hey there Nick,

I have no dog in this fight, but all this ambiguity on why this is the "biggest" sneaky Tim has made has me interested.

Is it because of the Katz blank? If so, what makes that blank so desirable?

Is it who the cue was made for?

I'm looking for some education here, because if "biggest" means fanciest, or cost of material in the cue, then you don't have it.

I've known of two sneakies I would consider "bigger" in my opinion. Both were flat faced 3/8-10 with ivory joints.

These are the two biggest ones I've ever seen personally.
All the white is Ivory.
Yours is great too Nick.

Hay cheese

I told Greg not to sell that cue with the Ivory Joint years ago. He sold it. The blank is the value in this cue and the $350 of stacked rings. And the Custom Cue ringwork and joint. And one other thing that is personal.
Nick :)

There is one bigger!

Actually 4 or 5. They all are signed by Paul Newman! What escapes most of you is the cost of the Custom work in the rings and Joint was more than a sneakie.
The cost of stacked rings and blank were about like a sneakie. The cost of the shaft was very expesive. Finished it would have cost about like a a sneakie reletively.
This thing was never ordered. It was built. And it came out nice 35 years ago or so.
Catbird Nice,
Nick :)

I have literally zero idea what you're trying to say here. At all. I'm not trying to be a douche here and knock your cue. Not at all. Only one person has to be in love with it and that's you.

I just am very curious what you're saying regarding the cost. I lost you somewhere amidst the "stacked rings and blank were about like a sneakie" and "finished it would have cost about like a a sneakie reletively".

- B <---------- still doubts this is the "biggest Scruggs sneaky on the planet" but is glad Nick likes it.

Thank you

I did correct it in adding the signed Paul Newman Cues. They are way over 2K. But only one was Timi's personal Cue would that make it worth more even than the others?
You know Catbirds.
Nick :)

Funny you should ask

Nick

What made you bring up the Newman cues ?

Eric

Your Cues on a table reminded me. You have one. Timi's personal everything and his Paul Newman signed personal Sneakie. Lucky dog.
Those are the monsters.
Nick :)

I'm still confused as to what makes this the biggest sneaky. Again, I'm not trying to be a d!ck or anything. I just think that perhaps your criteria for determining what makes this cue so 'big' is a bit off from the general consensus.

I'm sure the work in this probably cost a lot. And it may have a certain provenance and rarity in the eyes of a few but frankly... the two cues Chris posted above are MUCH "bigger" cues.

TS between points like a true sneaky!

At the time I didn't realize this is probably the biggest sneakie Timi ever built! Wow! I can't believe my luck.
Fancy rings at the rear.
Custom joint.
Custom joint rings.
There is so much going on with the Cue it looks fake!
On top of all that it was made with a Katz house Cue! And made with a Katz shaft!
Wow. I can't believe it. It is the biggest Tim Scruggs sneakie pete and the best playing one out of all the dozens of Tim Scruggs sneakies I have owned over the decades.
I take it out alot with all the thieving going on. Haven't decided if if is to fancy a sneakie to make my player.
The full shot shows how big a sneakie it truely is! The jump break in the group picture was begged away I am sad to say I will miss it.
I might have to play with my other plain old Cochrans nd Scruggs Cues though.;)
Nick :)
Nicki,
I noticed the TS logo between the points and looked at many other Scruggs cues. All the ones that have a butt cap have the TS logo in it unless the butt cap was added at a later date. All the true sneaky's have the TS logo between the points. It makes me believe that this cue was origilally a true sneaky and the joint and butt work was done (maybe by Tim by customer request) at a later date. It would make a great donation for the Boy's Clubs of America. IMO.

You are an idiot

Argue with Timi. You idiot. You tell him he is full of it. And no way he built it. You might get alot more than an answer to that question though.
You just called Eric a lier by the way. He also has posted here.
How are you not banned?
Nick :)
