I'm in NJ visiting family for Thanksgiving. I had the chance to play a little 9ball.

I just got in from meeting up with our very own Worldison2 in Parsippany,NJ. I gotta tell you, WIO2 is one lucky guy!! He lives only 8 miles from this awesome room, Comet Billiards owned by, you guessed it Bill Haley!

Bob aka Worldison2 is on the volunteer fire squad is neighboring community Roseland and offered a tour of the station house. Very Cool! They even have a 9fter AND a ping pong table! LOL.

That's me and WIO2!!

If I looked scared.........maybe a little! LOL

Turned out Pat Flemming, Owner of Accu-Stats Productions, has a studio IN Comet!! If Bob & I had planned a little better we may have had a live stream of our match! LOL. Pat is a super nice guy who was anxious to hear any input on streaming and recording pool.

Awesome Studio!! Would make ESPN envious!!

I am a firefighter. I remember the first time I went ALL THE WAY UP on the ladder truck when I was in Germany. At 102ft up in the air the wind was throwing the bucket around, then I discharged the water and the bucket kicked back HARD. I almost shit my pants but it was pretty damn cool. Damn newbies.

Glad to see you had a good time on your trip. That pool hall looks great. The studio looks wonderful. Have any pics of the regular part of the pool hall? I'm willing to bet it's just as nice.

Bigtruck,
Just got home from the party. Was only an hour late so no doghouse for me.

Your I-phone really takes great pics. They say the camera adds 10 pounds. What, did you have 3 cameras on me?

I had a great time today. Lost that "chicken dinner" match, but it was worth it to meet the famous Bigtruck in person.

Thanks!

Thanks Bob!! The pleasure was mine!

Did you notice the photoshop job on the man bucket? LOL:eek:

Look forward to next time!!

Comet Billiards used to be one of my favorite pool rooms. It is truly a good player's pool room and hosts many tournaments.

Appreciate seeing the pictures for multiple reasons, one of which is to see Pat Fleming's new setup. Thanks for sharing.

Did you have the pleasure of meeting Laura??:D

No I missed Laura. :(

I must say, Worldison2 is on top of the rep board at Comet too!! LOL

When we walked through the place, it was like you were with a celebrity!! Everyone knew Bob and Bob knew them too!! Called everyone by their name and even asked several about things they had going on in their life!!

I definitely found out where he got the handle "World is on 2"!! LOL. This guy loves a safety more than anyone I ever played!! He even likes a good one pulled on him! I've never used my jump cue so much, and my kicking game was also taxed!! LOL.

Great Pool Hall!!! I wish we had a room like this in Texas!!

Ray

I trust he told you about Laura??? I had the pleasure of calling Comet Billiards my pool room for a month not too long ago. I had a great time!

Sharing is Caring

Sounds like you had a great time. Thanks for sharing your Thanksgiving experience. As for me, I dropped a bowl of gravey and a cat bit my foot. I can't wait to view your Christmas festivities.

I wonder if Bigtruck wore his hat and boots?

Even though I wear many hats, I don't wear hats!
