Now, now, he's just doing his civic duty; or what he perceives it to be.

The OP's room is going down in flames and Dartman is just wondering if he's heard of gasoline.

Pitiful.

This kind of thing is beyond me, why bash prices at all, the guy is looking to sell his wares, its not a comment thread,do these people rush out on sunday morn, grab the paper, look thru the classified ads & spend the rest of the day calling people informing them their way out of line on the price.Buy or move on, its real, real simple, but then that may be the definding word, SIMPLE

To pick 2 items from the OP item list and point out that these items could be had
for less wasn't meant to be a knock but a wakeup call to do some research on what
those USED items were selling for in the marketplace.

Maybe you like to sugarcoat things - I believe in telling it like it is.

We're done here.
I take it you're not gonna buy and resell the Centurions for 3k?

2 sides

Dartman had a point only he should have probably done it with a PM. He wasnt insulting or really negative just to the point. If he had said nothing and the OP not sold anything for months, the OP might have just thought the market was that bad. Is the OP aware of market conditions or prices?
If I should ever post one of my cues for sale on here and I am overpriced enough to catch your attention please advise me. Maybe I just high balled out of lack of knowledge, not to say the OP was or did. Thanks, Steve

I agree a PM would have been better.
My bad.

if you are selling stuff in your own store than it isnt right to come in and criticize the products or price. but this is a free public forum and as long as it is done respectfully then why shouldnt a person make his opinion public as well. if your product is good and priced fairly others will decide that for you.

plus if everyone shuts up and some poor sucker learning the game, and new to the forums buys a bad or overpriced item for sale, here he will be ripped off twice. once by the seller and second by those that quietly colluded with him by shutting up and letting him get away with it whether he was aware or not .

Thanks for the support Maha- It's real simple everyone, I am not trying to offend, rip off, or even make money! I have the original invoices, I know what I paid (go to brunswick and see for yourself), I am simply closing this business and trying to get just what I owe. If a FOR SALE forum that deals with selling Billiard equipment is the wrong place to sell billiard equipment then PLEASE point me in the right direction. It would be most helpful.

Thanks for understanding,

Bear
