I'm in the market for a cue for $100 or less. I'm looking for brand suggestions for sticks that give the most bang for the buck.
Thanks

You can get a basic Mcdermott for like $125. If your looking to stay under $100 maybe go for a Players

Good luck. There really isn't much for under $100 today. The first real cue that I bought was in 1985. It was a Schon R5. Paid the ungodly price of $125. Everyone said that I got screwed. They never heard of that cue and I should have bought a McD or Meiucci.

I have bought a lot of high end cues since and that Schon is still one of my favorites.

Don't be afraid to spend a little more. Consider it to be a investment.

I'm not afraid. Just really don't have it. I'm just tired of shooting with house sticks and I'm working on a pretty limited budget.

The Black Widow line of cues made by McDermott sell for under $100.

Pressed linen grip, clean maple shaft, 3/8-10 pin. You can find one in Sears.

Not custom but in your price range.

e-bay?

I've seen a few on e-bay. They have names like Aska? You may want to look there and ask individual questions about them, some AZ'ers may know something about certain brands? Just a thought.

You can get a decent hitting (if you like a stiff hit) cue in a Players cue for under $100. I've got a few and a couple of them have really nice wood on the shafts. I'd have to say that they are better than most house cues.
