They are hitting it "hard" relative to the speed of the table conditions.The "bunting" discourse is BS. Current pros have ridiculous speed control and can play with just as much power as pros past. The difference is with the modern (often longer) stroke and the lack of body movement it doesn't *look* like they're hitting it that hard.
Duong is a fantastic example.
That is no comparison to hitting it "hard" on a table that plays three times slower.
