Black Boar on ebay

looks like somebody took some pics of a schon stl 4 and had a photoshop party, or replaced the buttcap, or somethin. something is definitely wrong here. upside down pic? off center "B"? this thing reeks. one of the pics has some weird edging around the cues and shaft too...

The cue on ebay is with out a doubt a fake Just my opinion

You can definately see the outline of the logo. It was cut and paste on this cue.
Someones gonna get ripped off here if its not pulled.
 
What are people thinking....

I mean no one will buy a BB cue without knowing what is a BB cue and those who do know can spot that this is a fake from miles.....

Well, obviously someone slipped through the cracks, as one person has already made a bid of $500. It seems that some people have never heard of the old saying about "If it seems too good to be true.."

I wasn't referring to you Chris...I was talking about the cue on ebay...

I sent the seller a question...more of a statement actually, that said I thought the BB was a fake and he responded by thanking me for bringing it to his attention and that he would look into it...go figure

As I said last night, I sent a message to the seller and told him it was a known fake and that I also sent e-mail to Tony Sr. Here is the e-mail he sent to me today:

Hello Sir
i have been selling cues for many years i bought this cue from a private collector as i had never seen a black boar only heard good things about there design i bought this cue and paid alot for it. If it is Indeed A fake i will be more than happy to remove the cue from listing or change to replicar and have the hugh loss of money from being unable to sell this cue. i have already email black boar about it and just waiting confirmation from them one way or the other. thank you for informing me

I seriously doubt that he's been selling cues for years (unless they were the $20 variety), but maybe being accused of committing fraud will make him decide to remove the auction.

I did the same thing and got the same response, it appears as if hes just copied and pasted this response.

That wouldn't be surprising. He might have gotten dozens of them. I'm hoping that Tony Sr. will contact Ebay and claim a fraudulent logo. The reply I received from Ebay about the issue was less than stellar.

lmao thats the worst counterfeit high end cue I have ever seen. He would have had a better chance putting no logo on it at all and saying it was an old zamboni.

And very nice to see. I think all of our messages to him made him aware that it wasn't in his best interest to try and sell it as a real Black Boar. Nice to see it gone though.
