Black Boar on ebay...

Too bad the cue was modified to include the inlays.
It was a great looking cue on its own without them.
Hopefully it will be donated back to Tony one day - who really wants to turn the cue into fire wood.

If you get it for cheap, you could send it to Tony to take out the inlays, and put other inlays in it's place, but the new inlays would have to be just as big or bigger. Tony might somehow lose this cue though.

Looks like I actually got a response to the question though it was given in the form of a question about something I am selling! He's tricky! That way his answer is not posted on his sale...damn!

My BlackBoar is an original , The pearl ovals were added by Rick Phillippi , Nothing else has been done to it , Peter tascarella made a custom shaft for the cue 1 year ago , That's not included but I'm willing to sell along with the cue , anything else just ask.

Edited out link as I have learned the story of this cue! Sorry for newbie mistake!

Another Philippi inlayed Boar? That makes 2. How many more could be out there?

Welcome to the forum.

You aren't the first and won't be the last to do this. One way to avoid this is do not draw attention to something on EBay that is not your listing.

Tony had first shot at doing just that before the cue ever was sold to this dude. I met Craig Smith at Tony's shop and asked Tony to put larger inlays in the cue so as to get rid of the inlays that Buch Parsons had Phillippi put in the cue. He would not mess with it. Good luck trying. Bob

Blackboar

I still like my idea of buying it on the cheap and selling it for big bucks over in Asia when I move there.

What do you guys think of that?
