Take a look at this nostalgic 1980 FL open photo taken by Bill "Breakup" Johnston of a VERY young David "Black Jack" Sapolis observing one of his and my favorite players at work, Louie Roberts. That's a pretty neat cap, Dave. What is that, pink?

Yes, my people actually allowed me to leave the house looking like that.

Great eyes to spot Dave. Has the government ever hired you out to look over the Zapruder film?

Blackjack, this pic made me smile. Anybody looking at that picture can tell how serious of a railbird you are because you ain't giving up your seat for nobody! (The crossed arms are indicative of stubbornness). You're already sweatin' the match (Anybody can see the beads of sweat under your beanie) And I can almost read your mind...(I'm done with skate-boarding. This guy (Louie) is going to get more girls just by being good with a stick than I am doing any more of those 180 degree half red barnburners. He'll need less band-aids too!):)

Admit it... what would you give to have a head of hair like that? lol

At that point of time, Louie was my idol. I would watch his stroke, the way he moved the cue ball. His confidence.

... obviously I wanted to be just like Louie. If there is ever a movie made of his life, I'm the guy for that role.
 
Don't feel bad Blackjack I'll see that hat and raise you one. This is a pic of my friend and I in I believe '81 sitting below the Wisconsin part of the sign sporting trucker hats and some serious hangovers.

Interesting sidenote, Strickland shooting with a stock Meucci and Medina a stock McDermott.
