i always though it was 3/8-11.5.
I thought it was like .345 .
You need his tap not the usual 3/8 11.
Blud has always said 3/8 is too stiff.

Not too sure why you're getting somewhat huffy about this but Joey's right to try and answer this question with a dead nuts accurate number. It makes a difference in how it fits.

What is the pin size for a Buldworth cue? I want to get a Z/2 shaft for my cue.

I've always refered to it as a 3/8-11.5 and I have the compression tap to make that shaft, if you are interested. Very nice tight fit. Blud was ahead of the curve with that pin. Similar to the radial fit without the mass.

i see Gene's point,no reason to be sarcastic b/c whatever it is it definitely isn't a 3/8-11.i have one in the shop and i will mic it tomorrow.

ding ding ding, we have a winner.
Howdy, had received an e-mail from Blud that told me the same sizes back in March. Before that I had a local Cue maker/repairman build 2 shafts for me, used a 3/8" x 11.5 tap for the shafts. start out abit loose but snug-up real tight. Haven't had any problems.
