How about it???

Bonus Ball Autographed Posters to benefit the pro players, by establishing an emergency health care fund for them and their families.

I would guess that there are pro players with no health insurance, or in these difficult times for pro players, others that could use some extra coverage...if all the Bonus Ball pro players hand signed a first season Bonus Ball limited edition and framed poster...(say there would be 50 produced)...then I would say that $20,000 or (easily) more could be raised to benefit the pro players....

There would definitely need to be more than 50 produced to raise $20,000. I dont suspect many people would pay $400.

$20,000 for a poster signed by pool players? You're kidding, right?

No...$20,000 total for a limited edition of 50 of them...I would easily go $1500 for one, (if all the $$$ went to the players fund), to put up in my room....

Edit: And these would all be hand signed and nicely framed, signed by 60+ pros...a real collectors item....

I edited my post after I reread it. I still don't think you'd get $400 per for them.

I am mainly a collector, (cues and other pool related things)...as opposed to a player...and IMHO it could work...like I said I'd go $1500 for one...and, I have several friends that would go for one too...anyway, how much do you think they could go for to collectors???

Its a good idea for players to get together and form some kind of structure that could be used to generate funds that can be used for a health care plan or other such things. Until that entity is formed and generates a track record of integrity I think its a bit premature to start throwing around the idea of $1500 posters.

But then what do I know? The more I read around here lately I am learning many things I thought I knew from experience and actually doing them are incorrect.

Printing, framing, shipping those posters is going to cost money. I'm not sure how much money that will cost, but even if all of that is free, and using your numbers above, you are talking about $6 per player for each poster. I agree with Gonzo, you aren't going to find too many people wanting to pay $400 for a signed poster.

Would you give me $2,000 for an IPT poster with players' autographs from the King of the Hill tournament in Orlando, FL? If so, please send me a PM. :)

I also have passes, programs, DVDs, and a set of IPT rules that I will sell. Let me know.

You're right, it might be premature...but as I said I'm a collector, and know other collectors...and I was saying $20,000 for 50 of them...and sure the whole deal would have to somehow be administrated by a few of the players chosen by the group....

Yup...they would have to go for more than $400 to make $20,000 for 50 of them...but what if they only made $10,000 or even $5000 profit???...also...I would say that the whole thing would be an *excellent* marketing opportunity for the WPBL and Bonus Ball etc....

No. It would go to my health care fund. It's a collector's item. You said you liked collecting stuff like this. I'm making you a fine offer of something you can't get anymore. It's vintage, man.

Bonus Ball hand signed poster would have 60+ autographs...and all the profit would go to the Bonus Ball players' health care fund....

I saw golubushka's answer coming a mile away. It's all Bonus Ball all the time with this dude! He says he's a collector but apparently it has to be Bonus Ball related. The collection must be pretty small. :D

Yes but Buddy Hall is more famous than any of the Bonus Ball players.

And I'll take the $1050 off the debt of the accounts of what some player's owe me. Once I get even, then I will contribute to your fund.

If you buy my IPT poster for $2,000, I will donate 1 percent to the BB health care fund.

Yup...well that was my idea FWIW, and I think I said everything I wanted to...and I didn't come here to try to prove I'm right (or someone else was wrong etc.)...so as they say in cards...(could be hearts or spades I guess)...the rest are yours....
