If its okay with the powers that be I could do that. It appears the problem with loading is isolated though as others have watched and are watching it with no trouble. How is your internet connection?

I watched this over the weekend and it was a lot of fun. At first keeping track of the pockets to "predict" the pattern was troublesome, but by the end, I wasn't even thinking about it. :)

I'm looking forward to the week of (free) PPV coming up! :) (I'll probably buy all the PPV's anyway, but the free week to get a taste of it is super cool!)

And that long cross-corner bank by Dueul at the buzzer was awesome!

I agree with this. The match was really fun to watch. Once you remembered the pockets, it was fun to predict the patterns (or try too!).

Someone suggested small colored LEDs to put on the pockets. Might make it easier follow.

All in all I am interested in this new league as well as trying to play the game a bit. I have a number of guys on my league team that are weaker players than me. Having them play six pocket while I play three would be a fun handicap!

You really should check out the whole match but if you only have two minutes you have to find Corey Deuel's last second epic bank.

I'm a huge fan of bonus ball.

video has been very glitchy for me and I know I have a good connection.

Does the announcer get on any body elses nerves? His accent and lack of knowledge is killing me. He kept repeating over and over again about the Canadian player only have picked up the game of pool a few years ago only to discover he has been a junior champion. Also when he brought up SVB's hearing aid he was actually surprised to find out it is a benefit.

It is at 63:30 in the video, very cool stuff. I know some people are having video issues, I personally have not and I am on a wireless connection in my place. I would recommend restarting your router, computer or whatever and then start the video and when it starts hit pause for like 10 minutes or so to give it a chance to build up then watch. I think the majority of people watching are doing so just fine but hopefully these videos can be put on Youtube for more people to see in a lower quality, the high quality of the video might be the issue for some.

The video worked perfect for me by the way. Thank you thank you thank you for letting me know this about Eric. I KNEW that guy had to have been playing much longer.

Bonus Ball is cool...I believe it could do good for pool....very well thought out game to incorporate so many different pocket billiards aspects....production was awesome....I think pool appears to be a sport in this arena....love how it takes the break shot out and emphasizes the many skills of pool....especially strategy and shot making....I think having a non pool announcer may lead to a tighter bond with viewers outside of pool players annoying or not he presents a side that may appeal to people who are not pool fanatics like most of us....possibly making pool something that non players could also enjoy....the ball color....makes good eye candy and eliminates the long standing problem with video pool...knowing which balls are which.....easy to distinguish and the screen format for production makes it fairly easy to follow the flow of the game....in a nut shell...well thought out game and top quality production....can't hurt pool I would say....might not make it mainstream as we all know but certainly cannot hurt....I love the shot making....and even the strategic or defensive shots probably make more sense to non pool players than in the other games we play....in my experience pool appears boring and yet confusing to the non educated viewer....the shot making...commentary....and easy to follow production could just appeal to many...or at least more than current streaming and the same old hasnt been working too great...I love pool and all the games....but BB is a refreshing introduction and very fun to play....both players get the opportunities....instead of best breaker controlling....dominating...and usually winning....without much drama or suspense!!!

The official launch isnt till tomorrow. We're not too worried about pushing a product that isn't ready yet. In fact, other than this thread, I don't think anyone knows this video is even available.

As soon as the website gets up, we'll have the proper versions of the video up as well. I'm hoping to get around to it today, as soon as I finish up a few other things.

By the weekend we should be ready to start promoting outside of these little AZB threads.

Tried the game yesterday solids and stripes. The game was fun, my opponent who hates 1-hole also thought the game was boring. Myself not being narrow minded in regards to different games thought it was a nice mixed up game!

Bonus Ball is certainly not for everyone in the billiard world. I had a good friend that worked with me when I first introduced the game. He loved eight ball. He was very good at holding the table and having his opponent sit there frustrated. (ME) When we played Bonus Ball, it was him who got frustrated! He hated having to use the three pockets because he lost the table too much. He complained his head would ache from thinking so much! LOL After about 50 games he started to enjoy playing strategic and making great shots. He quit trying to over think everything and quickly became used to letting me back to the table. Another thing he did notice was that while he could easily beat me in an eight ball race, in Bonus Ball, I always could play better because I was not terrified to miss a shot and lose. It definitely was much more fun for us!

This fellow was the guy who suggested "Targeting" of the Bonus Ball. He did that because he wanted to try and hold the table more on me. It ended up being a great addition to the game helping it flow better and it's a fun shot to try. This game you really like instantly or don't really care about it. I like that the names of players that instantly like it include many of the professional players of today like Shannon Daulton , Scott Frost and, of course, Johnny Archer!

Mainstream? It's just billiards anyways, and without any amateur leagues, there will not be many amateurs playing. That doesn't mean that the future won't see more amateurs wanting to play it. It is fun to play at all levels. Young people love it instantly. That is the future for this game. The future is bright because the game is fun. It can't fail because it plays so great! It's just a matter of time until I get my share of the amateur market. My first Bonus Ball amateur league was fantastic and fun for all. After the launch of Larry's professional league, I will focus on an amateur league system. There is a market for this challenging game. I proved that already!

Usually, once I get a player to actually open his mind to Bonus Ball, I'm in! If you don't try the game and are open to it, you'll never like it.

I was talking to Nathan years before I finally got a cue in his hand so he could see this is a really well structured game and now he's hooked. We have a great team here. Larry is pushing hard to get the professional league going, Nathan and his team ready to do the filming and so many top players wanting to play. It's exciting times for everyone involved.

I may be in the minority, but my first impression is that the game does not "WOW" me. However, my mind is open, and I hope it is a big hit for the pros and the industry as a whole.

One thing that I do think is cool is that it can be played as 6 pocket or 3 pocket, and as someone mentioned above, possibly both at the same time as a handicap. The option of a standard re-break or advanced re-break is also a nice option depending on skill level. Personally, I think scoring/tracking which ball the players are on will be combersome when playing with friends. There is a nice scoreboard application available if you buy an official bonusball set, but who brings a laptop to the pool hall? I also agree that the televised, 3-ball version needs some lights to indicate the shooting players pockets.

Lastly, purple and orange . . . really? :barf:
