You will find alot of great info on the developments of the game and the an amazing demonstration video featuring the great Johnny Archer and Erik Hjorleifson https://playbonusball.com/video2

You will also find information on the inaugural World Professional Billiard League event in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in May featuring:

1.Johnny Archer
2.Francisco Bustamante
3.Corey Deuel
4.Erik Hjorleifson
5.Rodney Morris
6.John Schmidt
7.Shane Van Boening
8.Nick Varner

If this was not a great new game, these great players wouldn't be participating...

These gentlemen are all masters of billiards and see the benefits of this multi dimensional game that incorporates all facets of the game...Straight pool, caroms, bank, etc..

Give this game a chance, and you may be suprised how much your game will improve if you become proficient in bonus ball.

Its a cool game, they have put together on heck of a business plan and have a great game behind it. Like anything there is a learning curve, once you past that(its pretty easy) you have a great pool game, there are moves like 1 pocket, offence like 9 ball and some banks there as well. Its a nice blend of the different diciplines of pool, the score board for commercial installments is fantistic.

I watched both videos of the pros playing bonus ball.
It's hard distinguising the purple balls from the bonus ball.

Maybe if the purple balls had stripes???

Thanks

Thanks for the kind comments Ralph, I will bring it to the promotors of the games attention...
I am quite sure they will be looking for all comments that will make the game better...

Have a great day:smile:

they changed the color of the purple ball, there are something like 5 or 10 thousand sets being produced at Saluc now, the new pruple ball is bright purple and is very expensive to produce, I havent seen it yet but I was told this directly-problem is solved.

Thanks

Thanks for info Fat-Boy...
I am so looking forward to some of the masters of billiard world coming to Winnipeg in May...
Once those videos are on the www.playbonusball.com site, alot more of our great American friends will be interested. If they like it, the world will follow.

This game, will help all facets of your billiards experience.

The www.playbonuspool.com site is back up and working showing video of matches (with explanations) between Johnny Archer and Erik Hjorleifson...

Check it out, you may learn about this great game, who some are predicting may be the billiards game of the future...

Hope you all enjoy...

Look for WPBL matches in the near future on this site...:D:D:D

I have never seen an ad for this product. Do they advertise here on AZ or are they just another freeloader advertising for free in the forums? Moderators, where are you?

???

Carolina, what is your problem?

There are many ways to say you don't like something?

There are many discussions for different games, about different games, etc...

This is an open forum to allow people to experience something new...

Hope you have a great day, and open your eyes and mind a little...

This is actually a fairly common conversation on here. Many people just think the forums are here for them to advertise their wares for free.

I have tried paying the hosting for the site with free ads. They have not gone for it yet.

Out of curiosity, are those eight players being paid to compete on this tour? I assume there will be prize money and they are not just competing because they think it is an amazing new game.

Prize MOney.

I have nothing to do with the World Professional Billiard League...
But like any other tournament I am quite sure that there will be prize money awarded to the winners...

And considering there is going to be a league with matches at other venues, there is probably going to be a bigger payout at then end of the league season whenever that may be...

Hopefully the owners will review these postings and be able to provide asked information....

I will see what I can do to ask them....

They are in fact being paid to help promote this new game. Nothing wrong with that. What I heard was that they are playing in a $15,000 event, all money to be distributed between them. I'm sure Arcman could clarify this for us.

afternoon bump

No need to keep bumping a thread that very few of us are interested in.

At the US Open many of us paid for the PPV broadcast, and instead of watching a great match, Oliver Ortmann vs Thorsten Hohmann, we got to see Johnny Archer, Darren Appleton, Corey Deuel and some others play this ridicilous stupid game called Bonus Ball.

It's the dumbest game I've ever seen, and I really, really doubt that Bonus Ball will be the thing that turns pool into a major sport.

If it is - I am quitting pool and finding another hobby. Like watching paint dry.

Something like that, i'm not sure that biz should be put in the street, IMO its bad form. I wish everyone the best.

Have a good trip, I hope you can get that "thing" sprted out to your satifaction, Good luck, let me know If I can help.

Best

Opinion

You are entitled to your opinion Roy, and hopefully you will be watching your new sport soon...

I am also sorry that your ppv event was interrupted...But, sometimes things change for the better....

But, until you try it, don't knock it...You may actually find out that you like it once you play it for a bit...

This game, like alot of others, does not appeal to everyone...

There are other good games to be played other than just one pocket, 8 or 9 ball...this will be one of them...

Give it a chance...

Have a great day
