Larry made an agreement with the players to go play any where they wanted. It is a team league and a team can play without one of there players. That is really fair of him!
Why he set the date to January was his believe that this contractor would be true to his word. When he did it, they looked like they were working their butts off.
i don't know how or where they hit the wall but they did. Larry is a easy going and trusting guy!
He also wanted to get the league running asap because he cares for the players. He never came to town to strong arm contractors or to by-pass any county laws.
It was I who pointed out that moving the start date past the Derby was a good move and that many of the players on this forum might appreciate that. I have no idea what is arrogant about that.
You can twist my words any way you want I guess but here is the fact, he agreed to skip past the Derby. I applaud him for that. It is good for fans and good for the top players.
