You know 6pm in Vegas means 3pm central time, Think about the Huge league base in the East and The Midwest. That means Firing up the grill a little early for a lot of people .
Just a little something to think about. I think a little adjustment on start time may benefit viewers. Their is more league players out this way.
Once again , Good Luck

Gary...You have it backwards. 6pm west coast time means it's 9pm east coast time (8pm central time). :D

I believe 6 p.m. Vegas (PST) time would be 8 p.m. CST.

Lone Wolf, Are you affiliated with Bonus Ball in any way?? If not, does it bother you that in just 2 threads you have single handedly done more marketing for Bonus Ball than the management and owners of Bonus Ball? Maybe you should be on the payroll, Why would it be up to you to promote their business when they don't?

Marketeer !!!!!!!!!!

No i am not affiliated in any way with BB . I have a lot of background as a promoter. I am a player and all I would like to see is the Pro Players in the U.S. being able to make a living. And to bring Pro Pool to where it should be.
We need all the help we can get,
Tell your friends to tune in..
Gary

A historic day in Pro Pool. 5-30-2013. Im on facebook telling my friends. Are you !!!!!!!

Many of my friends, even those that play pool often, have no idea what Bonus Ball is.

Only place I have seen it mentioned is on this web site.

Was just in one of the top rooms in the country (Snookers in RI) not a single poster or anything about Bonus Ball. I'm on several mailing lists (several pool room, tours, leagues), no info from those either.

They should promote it more. After watching a few sample matches on youtube i must admit that I'm intrigued by Bonus Ball. It is more exciting than I initially thought

I would definitely tune in and check it out if I wasn't playing league at 8pm on Thursdays.

I am excited to see Bonus Ball getting off the ground. I am going to go watch the first match LIVE here in Vegas. Can't wait! Go Houston Hustlers!

According to Nathan, we (US players, AZB members) are not part of the target market they are marketing to. No, I'm not a BB basher. I, like Gary, want to see players be able to make a living at the game (Gary would be MUCH closer than me in that respect). I'm not against BB or the players. But I do have concerns about their attitude in the threads I have read.

Nathan clearly posted, several times, that their target market is not *confined* to US players and AZB members. That is, their target market is US players, AZB posters, and other audiences as yet unspecified (I'm betting on China because of the Rasson table connection).

Thank you!

To reiterate, I simply said that AZ is only a portion of our intended demographic.

Tough crowd. :p

We're doing a soft launch. After all the disasters with the building and Barry, we're going to make sure we get it right, and take a few weeks to iron out the wrinkles. Once we have a product that we're satisfied with, we will hit the ground running.

Why are there not advertisements at all pool halls. It would not be that hard to find the larger ones and advertise. Find out when local tournaments are because that's when they're full, and get a table for a couple hours and have some guys play just so people can watch it live. Have some local girls that are easy on the eyes hand out chalk wrapped in purple and orange paper, and maybe take some pictures I see them at football games all the time pushing perfume no one has heard of. It sounds like this is backed with more money than a no name perfume company. I am not into this game and not into promotion but can think of these simple cheap promotional ideas. Grass roots promotion. They must be marketing to foreign countries. I see nothing local. Just some stuff on utube, wich is big but not enough.

Although I personally feel that the marketing has been not as much as it could have been I have to say that the website and the endeavor is a LOT of work. A lot of thought has gone into this project and let's all hope it succeeds for nothing else than to get more people playing pool.

I have no idea what the long term goal of this is but if it somehow gets on TV and the general public starts to get behind their teams and learns the player's names then we have a shot at seeing a revival of interest in pool. That's something that the industry desperately needs.

At this point though let's all sit back and watch it unfold and see what happens. I am certain everyone involved from the pros to the crew is nervous and has worked hard to make this happen. Especially the crew.

Good luck Nathan, Lenny and the rest of the support staff. And good luck to Barry Bremer. I feel bad that this seems to be a situation where it may impact some long time promoters and friends but that said I think that none of those people wish for BB to be unsuccessful.

I will be in Vegas in July and look forward to checking out the BB arena if possible.

Be watching on Thursday for sure.
