Borana Andoni vs "omgwtf"

OMGWTF and Borana each have BCA matches at 6:00 PM today. If either of them or both win ther match at the BCA, they will have to play back at 9:00 PM at the Riv.
???? lose and go to the Sharks for $2K at 10:00 PM. Win and they play later - say 12:00 PST?
I wonder if the match will even go off tonight if one or both are still in the event at the Riv, depending on what time they have to be back in the morning to continue play in the tournament. It wouldn't bother me if it was postponed a couple of days because then I'll be there to sweat it in person. :grin:
We'll just have to wait and see, but in any event it sure doesn't sound like it will start at 9P.

Here's how the times play out for each of them...
Borana 1st match 6:00 PM
If she wins, plays again at 7:30, wins again, plays 9:00, win again plays Mon 1:30 pm
If she wins at 6 and loses at 7:30 then plays Sun 4:30 pm
If she wins at 6 and 7:30 and loses at 9 she plays Sun at 7:30 pm
If she loses at 6, plays Sun at 4:30 pm
Melissa 1st match at 6:00 PM
If she wins, plays again at 8:30, win that, play at Mon 10:30 am
If she wins at 6 and loses at 8:30 play again Sun 2:30 pm
loses at 6 she plays again Sun noon

Thanks for working that out. It seems they could play tonight if they are of the mind to since the earliest anyone has to be back is Melinda at noon tomorrow. That may be tough though since Borana may be playing at the Rivi until close to 11P, and I'm sure this match would then go into the wee hours leaving not that much sack time for OMG. I'd sure understand if that didn't work for her.
Having said that, I wish nothing but success for both these women in the tournament and hope they both win all their matches tonight. And in that scenario then neither has to be back (for THAT event) until Monday. I know at least Borana is in some other events though, and don't know how those schedules might play into this.
Could you post a link to the brackets where we can keep an eye on their progress tonight? Hopefully Mark & Co. are pretty good about updates on the internet brackets.

I was just at the Riv and if my info is correct and i believe it is, both ladies have now won two matches on the winners side and have just started a third. I know Melinda dominated her first match. I have no info on Melinda's second match and no specifics on either of Borana's matches but in a very brief conversation with her, She said they ARE going to play tonight and gave the impression she couldnt wait. Kudos to both ladies if they play this match after playing 3 at the Riv. I know id be pretty drained.
AT any rate, from all appearances, It will start around 3AM EDT- it's gonna be well played and close.
