Lenny said he is going to archive the match so you should be able to watch it on his website when you get home that night.

Now you are talking thanks for the info. I can go in a media blackout and sweat it. Perfect I'm no longer bummed now I need a little action for sure.

Thanks again

Kevin

That's good to know in case something comes up and can't be watched live. Much thanks for sharing the info!!!

Yeah, you'll need to avoid the media, Kev. :p Make sure you don't turn on ESPN radio in the car on the way home from the symphony because they might announce the results of the match and ruin it for you. :D

I'll admit that in this case the "media blackout" will be confined to not logging on to AZ or looking at texts. If it were a symphony I'd bag it and go to Vegas, its Carole King and James Taylor together and I'm feeling all nostalgic so I'm going to the bowl. I'm glad I will still be able to sweat the pool when I get home in my mellow mood and I need some action.

Are they going to bill this as "The battle of the Callipygians"??? ;)

Hey Paul, if you can verbally say that correctly ten times in a row as fast as you can after taking 10 shots of 151 -- I'll make it 11. After the 11th, I get the Orange Crush! ;)

Even if it were Mahler's 2nd?

You are indeed in touch with life's priorities. :)

(Our conversation last Friday at HB during the *literal* table-light blackout prompted me to catch up on some reading here.)

Ask Alison Fisher about Borana's game-or omgwtf

This could be all over NYC Grind. I believe Borana Andoni is one of Alison Fishers Teammates. They have a team of women that did win there NYC league Finals. I get updates all the time about the New York area players from the grind. look you guys might all of a sudden like the nyc players.mark

I think you mean Allison Fischer -- big difference there.

Got Gamble?

Mr. Murnak,

You say a C+ doesn't win qualifiers.
I say a B player doesn't break and run a FOUR-pack of 10-ball.

Both occurences are rare for players of our speed, no?

I've never been able to win, or even come close, to winning a qualifer after that one in 2005.

What have I done lately? Pretty much nothing. I play a lot of barbox and everyone in Southern California (and probably the rest of America) will attest to my love for playing 8-ball on a barbox. I've quit chasing the tour so I am no longer an aspiring pro. I stay local and I play a lot of APA.

As for Merissa, I know her quite well as she is from the Southern California area. I was joking about the knocking. Otherwise, why would I post that publicly? But, alas, humor is often lost on the intarwebs.

I'm just a chick that loves to play pool, which, according to what everyone has said, is not so different from Ms. Andoni. I don't know what speed Ms. Andoni plays, but everyone has spoken very highly of her game. I do not think this will be an easy match for me and I know I will have to play very well to win.

I bet my own money because I have faith in myself. If you have faith in Ms. Andoni and her four-pack of 10-ball, then bet on her. If you don't, then withdraw. I do not doubt she has enough support on the forums to make up your $500 should you choose to do so.

This message will self-destruct in five seconds.

OMG "OG Hussla" WTF

Holy Shiet! It seems like only yesterday I met you in the pool room...now you are playing for 2 dimes! Playing for that kind of cash..you got sum big cajones!.... Just run racks!

Jay

Its the former. OMGWTF rejects backers to play on her own dough. She hunkers down, actually mapping out her practice table time against the expense, eats Top Ramen, and saves up her stake.

If you knew her, you'd dig her, she straight ahead with a lot of gamble.

Heart and heels baby.

Kevin

Now that's HEART...more heart than 90% of the players in the pool room nowadays! Gotta show props to any player who bets their own dough!

I wish I could make the trip to Vegas so I can bet on her.
