I usually don't respond to threads which have developed into name-calling contests. However, JJinFLA, you keep bringing my name up, for whatever reason. After reading some posts that were derogatory in nature to some of the sport's current lady pro players, I used to think you were just a big jokester, looking to get a rise out of somebody.

I have no desire to engage in a flame war on AzBilliards Discussion Forum. The reason I post on here is because I enjoy hearing from others around the country about pool happenings. I have learned a great deal about a variety of pool-related topics, and I have met some very nice people along the way which I first encountered right here at AzBilliards.

As of late, the forum has grown, and the readership is quite knowledgeable and entertaining at times, at least that is the way I like to think about the AzBilliards membership. Although I do not agree on some topics with others, I do try to be objective and appreciate hearing opinions that may differ from mine. However, when posts become hurtful and mean-spirited, it does change the atmosphere of the forum, at least for me.

I happen to like VAP, Landshark77, and JJinFLA, and I'd like to think that all of us have something to offer, VAP with his informative posts about competition and improving one's game, Landshark77 for her levity and easy-going nature, and you, JJinFLA, for your wit and sense of humor. I also do miss Gremlin's informative posts and pictures. We're all kind of lucky to have this medium to communicate. I remember AzBilliards from 3 or 4 years ago, and it sure has come a long way. I hope to see it remain as the best pool-related website on the Internet.

$20 says that Jake's response goes along the lines of..."Oh, JAM, I was just kidding...I just wanted to see what you would say." Because he is a...... yeah we all know. Jake is not a jokester...he means what he says, then when he is called on it he back peddles. Thing is, I don't think he would have the nerve to say his opinions to those people's faces.

Anyway, I wanted to add...here in public...again...that I too miss Gremlin and his posts. I thought he was fun and funny. I am sorry that I missed the lawyer post.

I wish post would stop disapearing around here.

It was a good one! Something to the effect of; "I am 'The Gremlin's' brother and a lawyer." He rambled about how he should sue the person altering 'the Gremlin's' Christmas photo (which was pretty F'in funny!) and slandering him. Or sumthin like that.

I miss Gremlin too. Who's gonna be comedy relief around here now?!

I found his posts kind of boring, but I don't think that is any reason he should have been bounced. I assume there were other reasons.

Calling people rubes, pot gut and just being a general dickhead to just about everyone put him where he is now. If he came on here and said, "Hey all, I'm suffering from X disease and I'm not dealing with it well and sometimes I lash out" or "I'm fighting with my ex-wife over custody of our kids and I'm grumpy about it" and it was believable, I would cease all mention of Gremlin's name and wish him well. Other than that, I have to go with what he's written and that points to him being a major toolbag and accomplished loser.
