I love my McDermott wrapless Jump/Break with a white diamond tip. I tend to see most people going with 18 and 19 oz. cues to get the speed, I like my 21 oz. and grip it about 1 1/2" behind where it breaks down to a jump cue. I know this seems a bit short, but I am 6' tall and after you get used to it you will find that you can get great control with the cue ball with great cue speed while breaking. Most around here have Predator break cues and swear by them. Just don't take you eye off it as there are usually about half of the field using them at any tournament.
Just my 2 cents
