Fit and finish fantastic...I wouldnt say a stiff hit, nor would I say whippy, nice playing cue at a very reasonable price.

Brian's work is great, his cues are great! You can't go wrong with one of them.

Watched Chance Chin take second place in a Joss Tour event here in Rochester NY back in March with one of Brian's cues. It looked like a nice player. I was too afraid to ask him if I could hit a couple of balls with it though :o

Brian makes an awesome cue and he is under priced IMO, get them now is what I would suggest, the finish is great and he really makes a great playing cue, cant go wrong.

When I received mine a couple of years ago the final product was so excellent and looked so good I didn't even want to play with it and he is a great guy to deal with. I would say his cue hits in the medium range.

I did a break of 10 years without any Pool- i decided to play again. so called up a guy to meet me in my town with his *car full of pool-cues*. before i ended with pool i played Schon, Scruggs, Prather, McDermott- all Hi-End Cues. And think i can say somethin about a cue. so the guy came with about 30-40 cues. i picked up them randomly. after about 30 minutes there was just one very old awesome Huebler Cue- one Phillipino-bad finish bad awesome player and a Jacoby- then i saw *this cue*- no name on it- took it- made 3 shots and bought it immediatly, it was/is a Bryan Mordt Cocobolo PlainJane. Bryan has a wonderful eye for bringing out the best out of wood- the Cocobolo looks awesome. Very nice feeling while hitting cb. to talk about tapers etc is difficult- if u know what u wanna have, a good cuemaker will create your cue like u wanna have it- and Bryan will do that 100 % (i bet). since that time i playe 2 other cues- and they all hit the same. so he s doin very excellent REPRODUCABLE work. and this is the hardest thing for a cuemaker in my opinion. u have so many excellent cuemakers in the states- and i really think Bryan is very underestimated. he s doing an amazing job and he s a f....in nice guy at all:) if u re going to contact Bryan tell him greetings from Ingo in germany. think he ll remember^^

Hi I won one of Byrons cues here on the raffle. Avery nice cue, perfect fit and finish, med to stiff hit, could move cue ball were needed, i just have to many cues, and let it go to someone that would use it. If I was out looking for a cue, He'd be right at the top of the list. Good Luck Jim

Bryan Mordt cues

He's an honest,hard-working,stand-up,willing to communicate,talented cuesmith- whose cue I wish I could've kept in a case(only because I can't play anymore situation)but had to sell.Bet I will own another ASAP,thanks Bryan! regards Jim

All I can say is Bryan builds a great cue for the money.I think he is way under priced and he is hurting himself because of it.I have a coco with ebony & I believe holly. There is another one out there where its holly & ebony.I wish i had that one too.
