This is a new pool room getting ready to open in Billings, MT. 8 7ft, 2 8ft, and 1 9ft Diamonds,

1 Brunswick 1912 Regina 5x10 Billiards table, new cushions and rebuilt rails.

1 6x12 Canadian Snooker table, rebuilt rails and new Northern Snooker cushions, 3 1/2" corner pockets, extended slate shelves.

$250 Annual membership, $50 a month pass, available 24/7 BYOB refrigerator rentals, as well as cue locker rentals. Looking to open around July 15th, or thereabouts.

Let me correct that, its actually a one time $250 membership fee, then $50 a month membership, play all you want for free.

Says on their website that non-members can pay by the day between 10AM and midnight.

Would think that they would have to cap the number of members, or it would become difficult to get prime table time. Guess they’ll have logistical problems if it is a popular place.

If you get a strong clientele base right out of the gate it could end up being a strong community.

Ideologist was pioneering a similar concept with private memberships in billiard clubs.
I think it is a great concept but it’s all about the city and location thereafter. I’d eagerly
join if one became available in my neck of the woods. Meanwhile, the very best of luck.

We actually have pretty similar club in our city where i play.
300€ membership fee and 70€ per month 24/7 play as much u want.
Our club is done by our billiards sport club. We rented place and bought some tables, two and half year ago.
It is been success. Now we have 14 tables. 8 Finnish Kaisa, 3 Russian Pyramid tables, 2 9ft pool and 1 12ft Snooker Table. All good quality and club made so good we(sport club) now payed all our tables and we are looking for 10ft Gabriels Carom table. We also keep tables top condition. When table start feel that it might need re-clothing we do so.
So I believe in this

Depends on the perspective.

Great thing for the owners.

Bad thing for fully paid member that can not get table time at their preferred or available free time. Of course, it is no different than a private golf club where tee times are limited for the prime start times. Billings is not a big metropolitan area, so it will probably not be too bad.

Like the concept, and wish we had a place like this in my area where there are now no pool rooms after Covid. Not one!
