Mr. Jerry Rauenzahn does amazing restoration work. Just got back one of my prized Brunswick cues. Everything on this cue is original, except the ivory ring on the shaft joint where it was cracked and in need of repair. The wedge is in perfect condition with an original bumper. Notice the original brass pin. Ivory on the butt is also original. Check out how the points all line up when cue is together. Wood looks to be Purpleheart in lower butt section, then Brazilian Rosewood???, and possibly Padauk or Shibadan on the shaft???. The first butterfly splice has 5 veneers, the rest have four veneers. Cue weighs about 19.0 oz and hits very solid for being almost 100 years old. Just imagine the history this cue has seen.
