I was wondering if any AZ'ers were owners of a Bryan Mordt custom cue...and if so...what their thoughts are on his cues. After visiting his site...his cues are very much along the lines of what I like...and I think I"m going to take the plunge. I just wanted to see if anyone else could share an opinion.

Get one from Bryan, it won't go wrong :) , I've bought 2 cues for my friends and they both love the hit, Bryan's cue deliever strong power to the cue ball very well, let alone he's one of the best cuemakers in terms of workmanship and service, I enjoy talking with Bryan, he's always busy, but always paitent to answer all of my inquries...you should call him and you'll know:) .

btw, I just placed a new order for BCM cue for my own use and I couldn't wait to hold it in hand :D

I have bought and sold several of his cues on the secondary market...always great cues. So much so, in fact, that last November I asked him to make me a cue to my specs. It should be a real beauty. Plans are for it to be complete in the next 6-8 weeks..I am really looking forward to getting my hands on it.
Only bad thing about a great cuemaker is the amount of lead time it takes to get a cue completed..bummer. Joe

BCM Cues

I bought a sweet Sneaky Pete from Bryan a couple of months ago and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! He does great work and his customer service is top-notch, as well.

i have had two of them.he has the best finish out there and great workmanship.playability left a little to be desired for my style.one was very hard and had a noisy hit and the other was very soft.probably should have changed tips on the Purple heart cue.i am sure the cues play great it just didn't fit my style.no doubt he has nice wood and an awesome finish.i would try to find a used one first to see if you like them b/c i don't think the resale is so good if you pay full price from Bryan.

I enjoy playing with my BCM tulipwood w/6 basswood points. Bot mine near new (?)from a "dealer". As usual very clean and tasteful design. Bryan seems to be very meticulous in choosing his woods and solid construction. I like the nickel railroad track rings. My two shafts are both excellent grade and play on the stiff side. Could compare the feel and balance to some Andy Gilbert cues IMO. Heckuva value too.:)

Take the plunge!

As all have said you can't go wrong with one of Bryan's cues. I was just at his shop friday checking out my second cue (first one is in my avitar). Although Bryan's wait time for custom orders is out 6+ months I know that he currently has a few availble for purchase that can be completed in a very short amount of time.

Good luck with your purchase

I have 1 of Bryans cues and just completed the payment on another of his. This one is King Wood and i know i am going to love the hit as well. Also, he is really great to deal with on the phone and his prices are reasonable as far as i am concerned...........mike

You know how all of his cues look about the same, well I seen a cue he made years ago and was way different then what he sells now, it looked really nice and I don't know why he doesn't make cues like he had made that one, "Ralph the hitman" from here probably has seen it since he plays in the same room with the owner of it, wished he'd changed some of his cue's looks! IMO

Bcm...

cues are great cues...and Bryan is a fine person as well.
I have owned 4 BCMs and each were great shooting instruments; my buddy has won countless money with the BCM cue I sold him.

I have a cocobola cue from him and it plays great.I wouldn't sell it unless someone offered me a ridiculous price.I still would have a hard time letting it go.

Bryan makes a great cue and his prices are reasonable too. I got a 3 cue order coming is a couple of weeks and another 7 cues in 2-3 months. You cant go wrong with one of Bryans cues.
