Anyone interested in this cue? I would like to know any information you could give me. I acquired this cue from a family member's death and would possibly sell it. I think they had it all these years and played with it years ago. It's probably been in a closet for the past 20 years!
Thanks for anything you know!

> I bet it hits NOTHING like the crap they've made since the 90's either. Nice find there,I've only seen a couple others with Buddy's name, and none have been even remotely similar to each other. That's the nicest one I've seen yet. Tommy D.

I got this one, 4 points 4 veneers, piloted shaft, ss joint with 5/16-18.
Bob Meucci made that for Buddy Hall back in the 70's. Everything still original condition.:)

Now that is a nice old Meucci cue, and it is fairly uncommon. During the late 1970's through the Mid-1980's many cues were made by Meucci using the names of famous players they sponsored. However, the Buddy Hall series of Meucci cues was the shortest ever lived, in fact they were never really put into full production, which means they were kinda a proto-type.

Good Luck with your sale!!

Actually,.... I think the shortest run of all was the "Danny Medina" Meucci cue. And I say "cue" because I think there was only one. I saw it or one? in a pawn shop about fifteen years ago. same cue as the buddy hall more or less.
I mentioned it to Danny some time later and he got all pissed saying that he had told Bob not to make any cues with his name on them.
Sure wish I had grabbed it!! I passed because it was cracked. I didn't realize it was such an oddity back then.
L.O.L. there is at least one out there somewhere!

Thanks for all the info on the cue. The cue is in really good condition, but not exactly straight. From what I'm learning it is a typical slightly crooked Meucci, but the tips do stay on the table when rolled! One shaft is 13mm and the other is 13.5mm approx. I believe this cue is a BH-4 Series. I would send the case along if someone wanted the cue. It's a nice, old case. Think I'll post it on "for sale" forum.

Bh-3

I have a BH-3 model that has been my daily player for years. I have 2 original shafts and everything rolls straight (without dings). Check out my Avatar.

As a matter of fact, I am in the process of getting a custom cue made by BHQ to replace this one. I plan on making a showcase for it and my autographed "Rags to Rifleman" along with a black/white photo of Buddy Hall. This will go on my poolroom wall (some sort of shadowbox shrine).

If that Danny Medina cue is out there I MUST have it. Please contact me 303-558-0647 or mrs.dickman@gmail.com. He has become such a big part of my life and now that he is is home in hospice I would love to be able to share it with him before he passes.

Rifleman

While Buddy was living in Tulsa/Sapulpa in '79 i bought a BH-1 from Buddy. He had about 30 or 40 in his car and i got the cue for 40 bux. Great cue and i really wish i still had it. I didn't even know who Buddy was i was so green but i damned sure found out. I watched him after class a lot and he even gave me help on stuff. Great days.

Buddy Hall is one of the nicest people that you will ever meet, I am glad that I call him a friend of mine!
